"Our stay at Naya Bacalar Adults Only was everything we hoped for and more. Located in the jungle area of Bacalar, this property offers a peaceful and intimate experience with beautiful boho vibes throughout. The bungalow-style rooms are charming and blend perfectly with the natural surroundings. We stayed in a bungalow with a private pool, which was very convenient and a wonderful way to relax after a day of exploring. The pool is not heated, but honestly, it wasn’t needed as the sun warmed the water throughout the day. The bungalows also include air conditioning and a ceiling fan, and we loved the outdoor shower, which made the jungle experience feel even more special. Our stay included breakfast each morning, which was incredibly convenient. We were able to start our day exploring without having to worry about finding breakfast elsewhere. For lunch and dinner, we enjoyed both the hotel’s lagoon-view restaurant and the many dining options in El Centro. There is something for every budget, from affordable local restaurants to elegant dining experiences. One thing that truly stood out was the exceptional staff. Everyone we encountered—from the housekeeping and maintenance teams to the concierge, restaurant staff, and even their preferred taxi drivers—was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our stay memorable. Our safety and comfort were always a priority. That being said, Bacalar itself felt very safe, and at no point did we feel uncomfortable."

"CHECK IN: We called the hotel a day prior to our arrival and said that we were coming for a brief one night stay and needed to leave early. Requested an early check in. They promised to do their best to accommodate us. Room was not ready until 4:00 PM, an hour AFTER check in time. HOTELS.COM “special goodies” was a blah glass of juice. ROOM: we paid for the most expensive “Lagoon View Suite” only to be housed adjacent to the bar - listening to the bar staff all evening - while having absolutely no view. SERVICE: Staff was friendly but essentially “just doing their job” attitude. HOTEL LOCATION is right adjacent to a noisy beach-club robbing any serenity and romance from the idyllic deck photographs in the promo of the hotel. RATE IS HIGH for what you get."

"This place is amazing! Excellent costumer service. The restaurant has a good variety of food. Definerly you need a car to go there. If you dont rent a car or have a car you should avoid it. Service taxi is around 20 dollars from downtown to the hotel and 20 dollars to go from the hotel to downtown. If you want to disconnect and stay the whole time at the hotel then you will enjoy they have the necessary there."
