"Leider war unser Aufenthalt eine absolute Enttäuschung. Nur eine Stunde vor der Anreise wurden wir mit der Nachricht konfrontiert, dass die gebuchte Unterkunft angeblich wegen eines Stromausfalls nicht verfügbar sei. Die angebotene Ersatzunterkunft in Kemmenau war jedoch eine Katastrophe: Das Haus war eine unfertige Baustelle mit offenen Stromleitungen, Sperrmüll im Garten und unverlegten Fliesen im Eingangsbereich.Sämtliche Highlights, für die wir bezahlt hatten (Sauna, Air Hockey, Spielekonsole), fehlten komplett. Der Whirlpool blieb kalt und war unbrauchbar. Zudem war die Lage viel weiter außerhalb als versprochen.Besonders belastend war die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber: Er war extrem unfreundlich und zeigte keinerlei Entgegenkommen für die massiven Mängel. Seit unserer Abreise ist er für eine Klärung überhaupt nicht mehr zu erreichen und ignoriert jede Nachricht. Hier wird man mit gravierenden Problemen und Sicherheitsrisiken völlig allein gelassen. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert!"

"My higher category roomtype was not available at check in. That could have been resolved early in the day when I dropped off luggage, but it was not addressed until late afternoon upon my return. Compensation was not offered until I asked. Dissapointing."

"This was a beautiful stay. Hotel was great, clean, comfortable bed, local sites were perfect. I would definitely go back and recommend this to anyone!"

"The breakfast was very good. The room was great, lucky to have a river view. The view from the terrace while having a drink and from the restaurant was very nice. The sauna was great, on from a little after 16.00 I would have loved a kettle in the room and the menu wasn’t extensive and as a carnivore generally had the veggie option which happened to be very tasty. "

"Great place to stay near the centre. The room was comfortable and bed very comfy so we had a great nights sleep. The room amenities were good with tea and coffee ( kettle and coffee machine) and even a small ironing board and iron. The main reception does unlimited bottles of water for you to fill and take to your room. Whilst it had aircon we found the room just a little too warm despite setting the temp low but wasn’t a deal breaker. Would stay again. Easy walk into the centre for restaurants and sights."
