We had a room for three for a long weekend, it was lovely and spacious with a fantastic big bathroom. Robes and slippers provided. Very quiet location, great running / walking routes, and the breakfast each morning was really good, as was the dinner we had one night in the restaurant. Lovely hotel and gardens with nice spa area. Room was clean and very comfortable. Very expensive hotel and you pay for the beauty and comforts but dismayed to then be charged for a bowl of nuts in the bar and for the breakfast. The continental breakfast buffet was lovely but the cooked breakfast was odd for such a good hotel. A very limp colorless omlette and pancakes an inch thick with very uncrispy bacon.
