"Very clean rooms. Air conditioning worked well. I always check mattresses, and they have covers zippered over the mattress. So I unzipped the cover and the mattress was very clean. Even at the seams where bed bugs could hide. The staff is super friendly. Pool was clean and pleasant. Not a bad price. My room wasn't a large room, (it was a two bed room), but nice. Motel is like a block or two from the eateries and boat tour places."

"We had an excellent stay. Cottage was clean and comfortable. Great location. Communication was very good. Electric hook up at the dock to charge batteries was a plus. And the fishing was very good."

"The location is GREAT! really pretty. We enjoyed favorable conditions (temp, humidity, wildfire smoke) and so lack of A/C was not an issue for our brief, end-of-July stay. Indeed, the fresh air cross ventilation was awesome! Did NOT miss TV.Some might find the house “dated” (1970’s?). Some might be less than fully satisfied with cleanliness. For me, we had a perfectly acceptable riverfront cottage, and in high season.We had no issues with the water system, however, we did hedge with a bottled supply for cooking and drinking. The shower stalls are tight.Larry was a kind, polite and accommodating host. I am not familiar with visiting this region, so a value assessment is difficult; let me put it this way: I count my lucky stars that this property was even available.I recommend this listing."
