Great staff and food are the best

We arrived a bit early but the front desk offered to speed up the services to accomodate us. Real friendly staff and the supper was great.

This is an older hotel, with Akzo large suites Werth balconies / or Sea views. Just a short drive from beaches and popular Ballito activities. The staff were welcoming and very friendly, while ensuring all my requests were taken care of . The indian cuisine served at the "Dine inn" restaurant is authentic and very delicious! Expect issues With water & electricity- these are issues common for the area and not caused by the hotel or the staff.

Pretty but needs work

The DSTV in the room did not work and I have been double billed. I paid through hotels.com and the hotel made me pay too.

Shocking

The hotel is not nearly as nice as it looks in the pictures. I would definitely not go back. The standard of the so-called premium apartment is absolutely shocking. The place has holes in the walls, light sockets not in properly, electics very dodgy , im surprised we didn't get an electric shock, the lights would go on and off. The painting standards looked like a 5 year old had done it, as you can see in the photos. The so called restaurant had very limited menu and its not the sort of place you would enjoy. There was only one restaurant in walking distance so not many alternatives. I was offered a small refund for the poor service , but they have not honoured that.

Just an okay stay but good location

The location- less than 5min walk to the Granny Pool beach and 20 to Thompson was the plus for this hotel oh and the spacious rooms - HOWEVER,our patios for both bedrooms were filthy ,sliding doors and railings muddy ,cigarettes littered - I had to go downstairs to call the cleaners to clean after I tried to sanitize and dust myself and it took all of 20 min per room balcony to show the state they were in … the entire property actually was just not the cleanest ,even the pool was cleaned just once during our 3 day stay ,tables and chairs not wiped at the pool area - cigarette butts everywhere - the cleaners though pleasant enough woke us up at 7:30 calling out to each other the first night until I couldn’t take it and asked them to keep it down - the restaurant was decent enough ,the young lady on day shift a joy ,evening shift and a guy on the morning shift were sour .They kept giving us food without cutlery or serviettes ?!?we ALWAYS had to ask - the young lady at reception was friendly and eager … overall just an okay stay

Staff is doing their best but they seem not to have resources, i.e. breakfast food, no fresh bread. Pool was dirty, therefore could not use it. Water was leaking from toilet pipe. TV was not working first night. Therefore cannot be a 4 star place. Staff was however willing to help.

Initially, I booked one night at the hotel. I extended my stay with two more nights after my arrival here. Unfortunately, the hotel did not have availability for a 4th night. The staff is friendly and helpful. Loved my stay!

Book at your own risk!!!

There was nothing good about the establishment. We were allocated in a wrong room and they refused to put us in our room since the TV was not working at room they put us in and there was a lot of noise from next door. It took more than an hour to serve us breakfast and when they finally served it, it was a wrong order and they served us half cooked sausages. We had to cut our stay short because they were nit attending to our complaints. I'd say book at your own risk!!!

WiFi not working and poor cellular coverage

WiFi wasn’t working for the entire stay. Staff from my company stayed there and were told breakfast wasn’t included even though it was shown that way when we booked on hotels.com. I had to clarify this with the person working there to ensure there was no charge for breakfast put through.
