"Throughout my stay I was perpetually irritated by the fact that you have to show up at the pool around 7am to put an object to claim a poolside chair. Literally, people are putting playing cards down on banks of chairs. We were told this by another guest after arriving in the afternoon, and it proved out everday thereafter. The other locations for extra guests are by a restaurant about 200' away that includes picnic tables or an artifiicial turf field equally distant that had no umbrellas most days. Sitting on the picnic table benches got old very fast. We chose this resort as it was family friendly and hoped our child would enjoy meeting some other kids. He did and that was great, but they wanted to stay at the pool most of the time, so getting a chair on the beach didn't add much value for us. The staff were nice, committed to customer service and the food was very good for the most part. We won't come back here, because the pool issue was absurd and sitting on a picnic table bench was annoying. "

"Great beach front condo in Luquillo. With a great beach for wave-jumping out front, calmer beaches are not far away near the Kioskos. A nice beach front walk to the main square of Luquillo with good restaurants. Plenty of beach-day equipment provided by the property. I would stay here again. "

"First off, I have to say that the level of communication by the host exceeded my expectations! They were very responsive and included multiple pages of instructions/tips/etc that answered many of my questions right off the bat! The condo was neat, secure, and comfortable, with available parking right outside of the unit! We were able to shop and cook many of our meals from home, which helped us get an early start on many of our days! Would definitely recommend to single travelers, couples, or even families with kids (we have 2- a 10-yo and 13-yo)! Plus, a 2 minute walk to the beach can't be beat! We'd definitely stay here again!"

"Our stay was great! If I could, I would change the listing to let guests know the unit on the third level, so if you have issues going up and down stairs, it might be hard. Also, in the unit, there is a long staircase as well (but that was clear in the listing). The bed was comfy, the shower was great, and the kitchen was equipped with plenty to cook if not going out. We felt very safe. It's very close to the water as well. The host was one of the best we've had over the years. "

"We love Luquillo and enjoyed our stay here. The apartment had everything we needed. We appreciated the air conditioning so we could close our windows to block out the sound of neighbors partying late into the night. The unit could have been cleaner, but was in reasonable condition with a well-equipped kitchen (note there is no oven). We love being able to walk to the local beaches, grocery store, and local shops and restaurants. That said, it is not a beachfront property, nor is the beach or ocean visible from the unit. It's a 5-10 minute walk to local beaches. However, you can hear the ocean waves from the unit when the windows are open. The host was responsive and helpful."
