"They have a great bar with excellent quality and prices. We found the outside area of the hotel (there are tables to eat) with a lot of trash on the floor. The room was a little uncomfortable. The staff were great. Maybe the place is not for foreigners. "

"Pleasant bar with a good atmosphere. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. We had some food in the restaurant that was fine without being exceptional and it was reasonably priced. Overall it was a pleasant stay."

"Lovely hotel. Second stay here on trip to Ireland with friends. Clean, well appointed rooms with very comfortable beds and pillow. Tea and coffee in the room. If staying in a lodge, there is a small fridge and microwave in the common area room. This time we stayed in a lodge versus a cottage. Both were great, but if you can get one of 2 cottages - Do it! Food at the restaurant was good, we had breakfast daily. Staff were great.Grounds were wonderful. Would stay here again. Make sure you have a UK power adapter as the standard European one won't work. There is an electronics store across the street from the Trim Castle where you can buy one for about 15 euros."
