"i like staying at this hotel and the rooms are always clean. The bar restaurant area was a real mess! Untidy, old food plates and glasses/cups everywhere. Floor dirty and unkempt. My salad was less than ok. not a described, missing ingredients. The staff were over run and under real pressure Will stay again, definitely won't eat."

"Great stay in clean property with helpful staff. Location isn't too bad as it's only a 10 minute drive into centre of Oxford. Parking bit of a pain as the car park gets very full. Hotel is huge so be prepared to walk a distance to get to your room, only a problem if you are disabled like me. Disabled bays an issue as only 3 available. wasn't impressed with breakfast, it was OK but nothing special. Good facilities and everything you need in your room. We were by the conferences for our stay and their is a funny musty smell in the rooms but this wasn't too strong."

"No reflection of amenities that were advertised on the advert on hotels . Com very misrepresented x very dated , dirty very tired very disjointed with rooms all over the place . Asked to be moved rooms and accommodated thankfully . Only slightly better. X Breakfast was a joke in a café on the opposite side of the road terrible service poor breakfast small quantity of food, cold lucked everything you could imagine will definitely not stay here again."

"Stayed here for 1 night with work colleagues, my room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. Used the gym facilities. However, a little bit disappointed I had to pay for the use of the pool even though I was staying there overnight."

"I liked the hotel overall and thought the staff were all really nice! The swimming pool and steam room were good and bar was nice too! The reception areas also nice! My issue however was we were given a room that absolutely reeked of dog! As we’d been to races and then went to health club we didn’t really notice until 10pm and couldn’t be bothered to change! Seems there had been a doggie convention there a few days before and although sanitised and clean the room really smelled! I’d give the hotel another go but dont think they should put guests in rooms until smell has gone ! I’d ask to move next time ! Bed was super comfortable though and I think overall was good value stay"

"We enjoyed a very nice five day stay. The ground floor of the hotel is very Manor House style. It is cosy with areas to relax in with comfortable furniture. It has a good dining room and also a separate bar, the Oak Bar, where you can enjoy a drink and a lighter meal. The gardens are attractive and there is ample parking space. We particularly enjoyed the cold and hot breakfast options available. Our standard room was a decent size and the bathroom was larger than normal with a separate bath and shower. We did not use the spa facilities. It is conveniently located just outside Cirencester and is approximately a 20 minute walk into town. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we were in the area."
