"Rooms are just too small unless you are literally just walking in and sleeping. I needed a desk to do some work and it was really quite a struggle to do anything."

"The room was well maintained with an excellent shower. One tile n the bathroom needs re- grouting but no big deal . Room 129. Staff were generally friendly, but TBH we didn’t have a lot of interaction with them which was fine for us. If get breakfast was warm & a adequate selection, though a mall amount of manners by some guests wouldn’t go a miss.The location is the star, just 20 mins walk to the centre & simple to navigate. Tight parking on the front of the premises, but plenty of spaces around the back . Overall the hotel ticks all the boxes for a base if your visiting Oxford for a few days ."

Only the gym room was a little on the small side, if fitness is needed for part of your stay you may need to find a local gym. Breakfast was great and a thoughtful take on the UK staples… overall, incredibly happy and will return for sure!"
