Set in the colonial holiday destination in hill county of Sri Lanka. Five minutes from the Bandarawela train station, it is the perfect place to let kids run around in the garden, while you enjoy a hot cup of garden grown tea on the verandah .Hyldale was once the holiday home of Sri Lanka’s first executive President .Purchased by President Jayawardhane’s wife ,Elena ,a wealthy heiress,for their private family vacations.
The current owner’s family has been living at Hyldale for over 50 years having purchased from the President ‘s family.
Hyldale is also a nature lover’s dream destination with maximum temperatures of less than 20C,
Hyldale ‘s cook will out delicious home cooked meals for you both western and traditional meals .
