"About half a block from Bourbon Street and really in the middle of everything. We had a room on the second floor in an atrium area. It was very quiet. Room 230. Some of our other family had rooms right towards the front of the street and they had a lot of outside noise in their room. The included breakfast was very nice some of the best fruit salad ever! My only negative is that the coffee was not good. I would definitely recommend Hotel Mazarin and would stay there again."

"Staff, location, and overall aesthetic of the hotel is solid and made for a great stay. My room was clean enough… the floors were dusty but the staff did address. Note this is an older refurbished building with its original wood floors and the floors did creek at night and the air conditioner was a little louder than preferred. Nonetheless, the hotel has character, it’s a unique artsy feel, great staff and a award winning restaurant downstairs. I would go back."

"Very nice place, decent rooms that a generally clean, workers try to help and are very polite. The jazz club is great being downstairs, good restaurant, and right in the middle of the heart of Bourbon Street! We wish the pool was open but it was being renovated, which is a good thing for the future. Shout out to Joe in security who helped us with an issue, great guy and great at what he does, and Burt at the front door who is constantly halting to take care of everything going in and out of the hotel! Very pleasant and polite gentleman. We had many good talks. Great experience all around! Just watch out for some peddlers & homeless around the area that can get annoying but we never felt unsafe as long as you have common sense and walk with a NY strut. They know. lol"
