"To reiterate my rating based on our first impression: excellent location, beautiful, spacious architecture, great amenities, helpful and friendly staff, good food and hours of entertainment watching paragliders sailing into the park across the street. My wife and I agreed that this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at in our 37 years of travel together. Well done. We’ll recommend your hotel to everyone wee encounter who plan to travel in the area. Thanks for a wonderful 4 days."

"The location was great right in front of the park where the paragliders land and with a view of the snow capped mountains. Fifteen minutes walk from both interlaken east and west stations. Halal food places nearby. Inside the hotel looked nice and clean though the rooms were very basic. The front of the building however looked awful...really run down and I was shocked when I saw it. The photos on the listing only show the building at night in the dark with lights on so you can't really tell. It's a shame because it really lets the hotel down. Also the breakfast buffet had very limited options considering it wasn't a cheap hotel. I was quite disappointed because I had expected more."

"Loved the rooftop patio and the kitchen available. It was so nice to cook a meal ourselves as we were away for 3 weeks. It was also great to be able to take leftovers home from restaurants! Laundry and dry bags for floating the river were other highlights of the stay"

"Location was perfect - close to shops and grocery stores (to help cut the cost of very expensive dining out in Switzerland). Short walk to Interlaken West train station. Easy bus access. Breakfast was included and was VERY good - lots of variety and delicious! Beds/pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is older, and room was pretty basic - no bedside lamps (NOT a game changer), and no A/C, which we discovered is common in Switzerland. Temperatures were warm (high twenty's) during our stay, but we were given 2 floor fans which really helped to keep things comfortable. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend."
