I stayed for only 1 night mainly because the apartment was close to the airport. But I was amazed at the quality of the apartment and the location, just a few feet from the beach.

Not even a kettle. Stress from the start. Travelling to the property we get a message, problem with my credit card. They may cancel the booking. They ask for another credit card. Expedia insists do not supply further credit card details, hotel is saying if we don't supply new cc details they may cancel the booking. Bit of an inconvenience when we are in the high speed train coming from Madrid. Hotel gave us until 6pm to arrive. We ran with suitcase to get there just in time. I told them that I was bringing cash anyway. We arrived, paid cash for the stay (2 nights). They demanded 300 Euros deposit (in case we broke a cup I guess) this had to be paid by credit card in Euros. The last thing I want is to go back to England with 300 Euros credited to my credit card. Cash apparently was not acceptable. On to the room... Very dusty and dirty - actually upon check in we heard people complaining that their room was not clean - so obviously it wasn't just us. I had the pull out bed which had plenty of hair on it. I haven't suffered from Asthma for 20 years but the dust on the floor brought it back on. No kettle, no bowl for cereal. How this place gets high ranking reviews I really don't know. Staff - fine. Location fine. Amenities bad and low quality. It was cold in the room. Turned on the radiators, they didn't work. The room overhead air/con heating seemed to have a dial that went from 5C to 15C. We turned it to the heat setting but it just made a wind noise but without heat.

We loved it here. It was right by the beach and close to lots of restaurants. It was nice to have our own space.

I thought the stay was amazing the only thing that people may dislike is it is a party area meaning there is clubs all the way down the street. They all run late and people are always packed there. So if you need a super quiet night area you may not like it.

The apartment was nice and comfortable. But where to check in wasn't clear and we walked aound in the rain to find the hotel which is where you check in. Hotel Playafels is where you should use for your drop off if you use the apartments.

One of the worst experiences, terrible costumer service, AVOID THIS PLACE Money taken from our personal belongings from the cleaning ladies, when we mentioned this at reception saying it was not going to be a problem if they took them but we just wanted them back they said they asked them and they did not take them that I was misunderstanding (I know they took them as they also moved my personal belongings) The guy at reception said I should ask my father if he didn’t take them as the cleaning ladies were asked and they said they didn’t so I must have forgotten were I put them or my dad took them (really???!!!) I asked to speak to the manager as I was not lying and I wouldn’t make a big thing without a reason but they accused me of being lying or that my dad took them and the big surprise was that the Director Sol Zanini Pereyra was the worst! She had a terrible attitude assuring that never happen and at a point she was rude and mocking about the situation (my partner was upset about her attitude), she never listened us nor try empathy she just literally said that didn’t happen, that I must have lost them somewhere else, or that I was imaging I left them there or that my dad took them. Such a terrible attitude and costumer service, they defended a thief. Don’t waste your money at this place, the apartment was old, without the maintenance needed, not well cleaned, the pans were greasy when we got there and one day before our check out this thief took our money.

clean. Staff helped with luggage and accommodate for a late check out when possible. The location was great, a step from the beach. Many restaurants, bars and chiringuitos near by. Even the train station is close enough to go to either Barcelona or Sitges to spend the day. Recommended!

Only a 1 night stay at this apartment but it was clean, comfortable, close to the beach, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The surrounding area is noisy at night. The amount of fragrance used at this property could be an issue for some sensitive travellers.

The Hotel Manager Ms. Sol Zanini was excellent and we are thankful, Sol was attentive to our needs. The hotel is modern with a great pool area with beach access. The hotel cleaning staff were wonderful and also deserve praise. We hope to reserve again for next year.

The apartment is nice but others guests were very disturbing, loud music, noisy until 2-3 am, even after we asked them to stop but careless. The hotel staffs didn’t help after l called them at 1:00 am. The manager wasn’t properly trained on how to talk to guests and she doesn’t discriminate guests depending on their look or national origins by giving them rooms that are just a very noisy bar restaurant across street….

The room was we got was not the one as it appeared on hotels.com. When we asked the hotel manager to switch, he told us no. So, we cancelled our second night and went elsewhere.

This hotel is a great spot if you enjoy a quieter beach town with a nice hotel room just steps from the beach! Our apartment was clean and spacious and had everything we needed close by. It’s also a short ride to the airport. Definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again in the future!

Property is falsely advertised on the portal, there is no access to pool as it is only for guests at the hotel. Apartment is filthy, floor tiles creaking and wobbly, beds are dirty. poor insulation, if the next door flushes their toilet too it sounds like an explosion in ours. First floor is high with steep steps and there is no lift, all in all a horrible experience to stay. we barely stayed in the apartments as it is highly uncomfortable. If with young families, should not book this apartments

Nice getaway
You have to check in at the hotel and walk 300meters to the apartment. Apart from that it is in a quiet street close to the beac and other amenities. Across from the apartment there is a great Restaurant Bar on the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would come back to here.

This was our first time in BCN with our 2 young boys, I travel a lot to Barcelona for football and will always stay in the city but this is not something I wanted to do with my children for 7 nights. So I chose Castadellfels as a base camp. Apartments are clean,great shower. Kitchen is limited and not for full self catering. No kettle so had to boil water in a provided pot and no toaster. This did not spoil our time in castadellfels as the beach is just amazing with some really great restaurants especially Barba-Rosa and Oasis, a fabulous base with easy access to the city via barcelonas well organised travel networks. Hotel reception and service staff are very efficient,friendly and welcoming. Really nice relaxing pool area but water was far to cold,sea was much warmer and all our days when we were not in the city were spent here. We would definitely consider staying here again but a rethink on kitchen appliances by the hotel is a must for family on self catering trip. All in all, we were very happy in the apartment with everything we needed close by and Castadellfels is such a lovely place.

Just around the corner to a gorgeous beach and terrific community. super helpful and professional hotel staff. My apartment was quite far from the main hotel building and across the street from local bar(s) so very loud a few of the nights (weekend) but overall was very happy with my time here.

What is an apt without a kitchen=a hotel room separated 100 meters from the hotel! Clean plain small hotel room. Said room had coffee maker n tea kettle..had nether.
