We only had a couple nights in Barcelona but the Casa Nova Guest House was perfect for us. Our room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. The window opened to the street which was nice for a fresh breeze. The shared coffee and muffin station was really nice to have for our morning coffee and breakfast snack. There was a basket available with lotion to use and the use of hairdryer which was nice. Since we were early to check in, we found a great coffee/drink place just around the corner. Pesimo servicio y atencion.

Llegamos a Barcelona en la noche y el hostal no cuenta con check-in, a partir de las 10 pm te cobran 70€, al llegar al hotel nos recibío una chica que nos cobro eso y un impuesto de la ciudad de Barcelona por persona, dos rubros de los cuales no recibi ningun recibo. No nos dio las habitaciones hasta haber pagado esto como si no fueramos a pagarle, mas de 7 horas en traslados para llegar a estar parados sin habitaciones hasta no pagar. No es un hotel, es un hostal!!!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr laut und etwa 2,3km außerhalb, nur die Sagrada ist in der Nähe Kein Frühstück, eine Bettdecke für zwei Personen, eine laut brummende wasserabsauganlage, Dusche extrem rutschig- der Wasserstrahl und die Wassertemperatur waren perfekt Insgesamt ist das Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen, sollte renoviert werden und dafür zu teuer

Cosas a mejorar

En general, todo correcto. Lo único que se podría mejorar sería la hora de entrada (check in) que es a las 15:00h, un poco tarde para para mi gusto y la hora de salida (check out) que es a las 11:00h, lo cual es temprano. En resumen entrado a la habitación a las 15:00h y saliendo a las 11:00h, no disfrutas de la habitación ni un mínimo de 24h (el día completo). Yo personalmente pondría la hora de entrada y salida a las 12:00h que es lo más estándar y lo más común en todos los los alojamientos en los que me he hospedado. Por suerte pudimos dejar el equipaje en el alojamiento a las 10:00h, aunque yo habilitaría una sala con llave para las maletas, no que las tienes que dejar en el pasillo sin ningún tipo de seguridad lo cual no me inspiró mucha confianza. En cuanto a la habitación todo bastante limpio, menos debajo de la cama que había algunas pelusas. Por último, la ubicación de 10, a una parada de metro de la Sagrada Familia, hace esquina con la Avenida Diagonal.

Definitely the case of “you get what you paid for “. I chose this because we were on a tight budget and we needed the room just to sleep. Turned it was a good choice. Location was great, only a few blocks behind “expensive hotels”. We had a triple room, so it was roomier. The room was cleaned everyday, tea and coffee in the lounge area, but no milk provided and freshness was questionable. You guys should clean the fridge, a bit of food left behind that are way past the ‘used by’ date.
