I loved this small boutique hotel. The bed wasn't super comfortable but everytbing else makes up for that. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was perfect, off the main tourist areas, and the breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend it!

This hotel is in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore Barcelona on foot. It is very walkable to major attractions such as the Sagrada Familia and the Arc de Triomf, and it is also surrounded by excellent restaurants that highlight the city’s incredible food scene. The property itself is well-maintained, comfortable, and welcoming, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. We initially thought we’d lost a hat. The staff reviewed their video and showed us that my hubby wasn’t wearing the hat upon arrival- that was so kind and very detailed of them, accommodations and food were great. Unfortunately the hotel can have lots of outdoor noise, cars, shouting, morning work on the property.

I originally was staying at a hostel but decided to treat myself on my last day in Barcelona. I am very glad to have booked this hotel. Even though it was a short stay I enjoyed every moment of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean and facilities are newer. The room & bathroom were spacious. The bed was large and comfortable. Some room amenities include slippers, body wash/shampoo, conditioner, complimentary glass mineral water bottle and a bottle of local wine. The next time I go to Barcelona I would definitely consider staying here.

Good location, clean, comfortable bed… however the construction sounds were constant from about 10am to 5pm, banging and drilling from seemingly the room next door and from above. I don’t like writing bad reviews but if was very unpleasant. The breakfast was good and the overall place is nice, but the noise was unacceptable for what I paid…

A really bad experience. Our room was really hot and humid, and the ventilation was off and couldn’t be turned on. We had to sleep with the (very little) windows wide open just to bring room temperature to an acceptable level and deal with humidity. That only added more noise but the property overall barely has any noise insulation. The staff were a combination of not helpful and not willing to help either. The man at the reception had what sounded like a script of “we are at 100 percent occupancy and there’s nothing I can do” (it’s Jan 11th in Barcelona and they have various hotels). He called his supervisor and all she was wondering is through which platform we made the booking, as if it made any difference. Just a dehumidifier or a fan could have solved it, which we suggested, but they were just not willing to provide a decent service. I asked to speak with the supervisor myself and was ignored. Avoid if you can.

We throughly enjoyed our time Serhs Carlit Boutique Hotel. The hotel exceeded our expectations! The rooms were clean, spacious and the air conditioning was a bonus. The location is easy walking distance to attractions, restaurants and shopping. The breakfast in the morning is the best we have had in Europe. Fresh, a fantastic variety and delicious. The staff we A++. Jessica, in particular, was so kind and helpful in getting my husband's phone back after he left it in a cab. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona and we will stay there in any future trips to Barcelona!
