The check in took some time as there was training going on, which is understandable. The room was fine, large and comfortable but I must say that it is noisy area. There is noise throughout the day and night. Noises from other rooms can be heard also at night. So if your trying to get a good nights sleep it can be difficult at times. I think the Hotel needs to get some better windows and get the rooms insulated. They have done that in the corridors, but it does not help. Breakfast was OK.

We arrived late to Barcelona from a long vacation trip and found that our apartment had no water because they were doing unexpected repairs. I had to look for two hotel rooms for me and my partner and for my sister and friend, that were visiting us. This hotel was a close distance and had good reviews. At 2am my partner woke up bitten by bed bugs in the leg and neck. He looked on the bed and found the insects on the sheets and in the headboard, and took pictures. We decided to leave the room and when we went to the front desk the attendant had a face of disbelief, like it was impossible that they had bed bugs in the room (my sister's room had to bed bugs and they stayed there for the night). We went back to our apartment without water since it was safer than staying in the hotel room.

The hotel was in a quiet residential area with about 5/10 minutes walk to the nearest metro and bus stops. The most convenient part was the parking if you are travelling by car. There is an onsite parking. Also we were allowed to leave the car until late afternoon after our check-out time. One warning though. The hotel decor was black and has very dim lighting which would at first instant give a wrong impression of the hotel. But staff were friendly and helpful which is another plus.

Excellent staff and service. Lovely room. Stayed over New Year’s Eve and the staff made it extra special by offering champagne and traditional grapes and a letter about what goes on in the area.

great staff, great location, decent room, no soundproofing no double glazing, trucks sound like they are in the room with you, party in room beneath from 1am followed by some more 'private' sounds. zero sleep. wont be back.

Amazing Hotel that we 100% recommend!
This hotel is amazing! The customer service is great, all workers are very friendly, and they are super helpful. My wife and I arrived early thinking we’d just drop off our bags and come back later for check in. The front desk insisted they could get us checked in early and within 30min we were in our room (all before 10am). We mentioned it was our anniversary trip and they sweetly delivered a congratulatory gift to our room (which we found to our surprise). When we needed anything, they quickly got someone to help us. Even up to getting a taxi at 3am when we had an early flight home. We will 100% stay at this hotel the next time we are in Barcelona!

We had a short stay but the hotel and staff were amazing. The lobby is beautiful and rooms are very clean. Spacious and clean bathrooms. Parking and breakfast were available.

very comfortable bed and clean. but otherwise, quite old and dark, and damp old smell in the room. pictures on site definitely looks much better than real life. also not the hotels fault, but surrounding suburb was quite dirty- encountered multiple dog faeces on walk to and from metro every day.

1. Windows had shutters that severely limited visibility. 2. Overhead shower, sink faycet, and lighting over sink incorrectly designed. 3. Slippery tub surface. No hand hold to help get in and out of bath tub/shower. 4. Breakfast very good. 5. Staff excellent.

The concierges were always helpful, providing information and even detailed maps! The breakfast was a treat with so much variety and delicious! Wished we had discovered it the first day! The rooms were always clean, the bed was super comfy! We had to ask for help on how to turn on the lights (needed your room key in a slot), but it worked well! Would definitely stay again!

This is a terrible hotel. They gave me the wrong room. It turns out this is a hookers hotel. Expedia should have indicated that. Super bad experience overall.

I had 3 nights in a junior suite, with King bed & Jacuzzi (huge). Everything was new & freshly cleaned. I left the hotel for breakfast though, as it's nice to try new places. My suite had room for bags, but no draws to put clothes. Maybe some hooks on the bathroom wall to hang towels would help, as the environmental sign says put towels on the floor if they need laundering, but there's nowhere else to put them (no shelves, or hooks in the bathroom). To people who've written reviews and said things like; * Comments saying it's noisy - I'd say always take ear-plugs to hotels - noise from vehicles, or nearby Tapas venues is normal city sounds, which generally stop after 11pm - the hotel staff can't tell cars or people to be quiet ! * Comments saying the shower makes the floor wet - it's adjustable, so move the angle away from the floor and you won't make a mess ! (the floor was perfectly dry after every shower i had). Craig, from Western Australia.

First time in Barcelona stayed at this hotel and it was nice. Pros is the staff is amazing. Probably the best part of this hotel is the excellent service the staff provides. Another pro is that the neighborhood is quite, 3 blocks away from a major avenue filled with restaurants and bars. Cons are that it is a 15-20 minute walk away from the City Center, the coastline, and the all the more "tourist" places in Barcelona. Another thing is hat it's a little dark with not much light. But that's just a personal preference and not really a con. Overall the hotel was a good experience. I would not stay at it again just because it's adults only and I plan on traveling with children the next time and would like to be in a more centralized location.

Staff were great. On arrival the room was missing the basics. TV remote Telephone but we’re advised the staff sorted this. We did not get the room we booked. We wanted a enclosed shower and where given a room with a massive internal window into the shower. This did not suit us. The exterior windows had a shutter that only opened a few inches. There was a lot of work going on in the hotel so the noise was quite intense and started early. At night there seemed to be a nest of pigeon very near to the room and you could hear them. The TV should be on a extendable bracket so you could watch it in bed instead of sitting on a upright chair.

Too noisy but comfortable rooms
Not very quiet as they have recycling bins for the neighbourhood right next to the hotel so you can hear bottles being dumped in there late in the evening and very early in the morning. The rooms and hotel are a little tired, it needs a good refurbishment. In terms of eco friendliness they use halogen bulbs in the rooms instead of led. Air conditioning didn’t work but luckily it wasn’t hot the week of my stay. The bed was very comfortable so can’t complain that I didn’t have a good sleep. If anyone is curious about the adult only categorisation, I didn’t find it to be anything ‘adult’ focused other than there not being children in the hotel. Nothing dodgy that I could see or hear. If you’re there for the conferences, it’s very close by, so very convenient.

The mirror though
The hotel was nice. The elevators are an experience. The breakfast was reasonably Priced and the room was big. The room’s decoration is a unique choice. We thought the mirror was hanging off the wall funny until we tried turning off the lights and the mirror rotated for a view of the bed. So if that’s your thing, then it’s a great feature.

I described this hotel in my journal as the "Goth Hotel", Very dark reception area and the rooms are painted in dark colors and poorly lit. The hotel itself, however, had a VERY friendly staff, and excellent breakfast option and the room was very clean with all the amenities you'd need. Thermostat was limited on how cool you could get the room. The bed had a thick duvet which made it too warm for me to sleep. The outside area was pretty noisy, so opening the window at night was not an option.
