Ok for a night Buffet breakfast 12 euro overpriced The room had a smell of sweat Had to open windows for fresh air all night Double bed two singles joined so uncomfortable But wasn’t expensive stay so I guess you get what you pay for

The hotel itself is very good. The staffs are nice and very helpful. The area of hotel can use a little tides up a bit. The dog’s owner should clean up after their dogs, regardless whether.

The property does not look like in the photos on Expedia, but very clean room, friendly staff and good location to catch the train to the City as the hotel is around 200 metres walk from the train Station of Mataro. The beach is also also close to the hotel.

Great hotel close to beautiful beach.
Lovely hotel close to a beautiful beach and bars. Staff really welcoming and helpful. Room spotlessly clean and bed really comfortable. Only thing missing was tea/coffee tray in room but 24hr room service available if you wanted anything.

What a beautiful boutique hotel , very boho chic style and had a gorgeous lounge and restaurant area to sit and eat or to chill in. Its situated less than 5 minutes away from the beach and is also near to the train station (35 mins to Barcelona ) The hotel staff were so attentive and friendly and always made sure your needs were met during your stay. The only thing I would point out is that the breakfast was a little expensive for the quality There was also a lovely little city centre that had lots of cafes and shops and patisseries (theres literally one on every corner ! ) ha ha. Beautiful restaurants near the beach and theres also a dominos pizza at the end of the street. Overall our stay has been lovely and we thank the staff for making our stay very welcoming I would reccomend.

A short ride on the train from Barcelona and much more affordable than staying in the city. The train is walking distance. The service is there if you need assistance of any kind. The breakfast had a nice assortment for the price. All in all very convenient and comfortable staying here.

The staff was overall excellent: They were ALWAYS courteous, helpful and catered to all our needs, such as information, directions and suggestions. This was particularly important to us - first time visitors to Barcelona. GREAT staff team work!

We stayed in Mataro for three days in New Hotel Colon. The staff were great, location is very central (beach, shops, restaurants, trains are only 10 min walk), and accommodations kept us comfortable.

Breakfast was nice with good options. Rooms were comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and nice. Parking is difficult. If the garage is full it was challenging to find parking close by.

Great, retro style hotel. Nice room with view over Mataro. Comfortable, clean and in good condition. Easy and secure car parking next door. Great location for exploring the town. Theres a lot more to Mataro than first meets the eye. Heaps of history going back to pre-Roman times. Local museums and art galleries worth a visit. Great shopping tucked among the houses. The town comes to life in the evenings. The beach looks great, but we where there in early Spring so a bit cold. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed being in a local area away from the crowds in the city . The rooms are small and was disappointed that we booked a superior double but were given a standard double room . The property moved us but at extra cost . Wotif some how messed up our booking . A bit disappointing ,and no word from them . But our stay was good and everything else was as well . The train ride into Barcelona was interesting as the train travels along the beach . Took about 50 minutes but was enjoyable . Living with the locals and not tourists was one of the best experience . Great stay , great Hotel .

Great bed, room is a little small but cozy, great selection at 24 hour bar with super helpful and friendly multi-lingual staff. Room temp was comfortable even in the middle of a cold night. Would stay here again.
