"Wonderful location, beautiful hotel & restaurant. However, if you are seeing the primary photo & think you can use the pool, you are wrong. There should have been a disclaimer stating the pool was out of service & will be for quite some time. Instead, we got there to a sign that read the pool was undergoing "cleaning" - yet there was a whole ass renovation being done! And yet the guy at the desk told us he thought the pool was potentially going to be done in time for one of the days we would be staying. Sorry but anyone with eyes could tell the pool was FAR from being done & was under a total renovation. I do not appreciate the BS this place spewed to us & the misrepresentation of the property. We paid a lot of money for a location that did NOT meet our expectations."

"Dejaré este review en español para que los dueños del hotel lo lean y tomen cartas en el asunto. El hotel es muy bonito. Tiene buenos aires acondicionados, también buenas TV’s, es céntrico y si tienen 2 o 3 excelentes empleados con buena actitud, pero tienen un par de empleados jóvenes hombres que son malísimos. 1. Uno de esos empleados que conocí nos dejó sin el desayuno que están supuestamente a recoger a las 10am. Yo llegué a las con por lo menos 15-20min antes y aún viéndome que llegue, tuvo el valor de decirme… “como no venía nadie decidí levantar temprano”. Ese mismo empleado no leyó el mensaje de su colega que me extendió a habitación por 1 hora más y me llegó a sacar del cuarto. 😡 2. El día que hice check in, el individuo que me recibió no solo olvidó regresarme mi licencia (y eso me me causó problemas con la renta del carro en pr) sino que la noche que en llegué le escribí preguntándole si puedo conseguir una botella de agua para mi esposa que está embarazada... me dijo que el hotel no tiene agua y que a esas horas de la noche, la única opción era Uber eats... el próximo día una muchacha sonriente con que trabaja en la misma posición le pregunté dónde podía comprar agua y salió de ella misma preguntar qué cuántas botellas necesitaba y que ella me las podía obsequiar. Fue un contraste de actitud y de empleados. El servicio el cliente en Puerto Rico sigue estando por los pisos por individuos que siguen teniendo trabajo en los lugares equivocados."

"Location is excellent for walking around old town. The hotel is clean and the staff very helpful. Amenities are limited. It would be nice if there was a coffee maker in the room. My recommendation is this: do NOT stay in any room that overlooks the street. You will not sleep due to the street noises. People party hard in Old San Juan and they carry the party into the streets when the bars close. Also, traffic is heavy during peak season and many are booming their music. We also endured a lot of construction vehicles and work being done on the property across from us (they started around 5am) We were in room 22; a lovely room, but the “windows” overlooking the street have wooden doors which offer no sound-proofing. So, if you want to sleep, insist on an inside room away from the street. Hope this helps. Old San Juan is worth seeing!"

"Liked how the hotel was decorated. Little disappointed in the room. The picture online made me think there was a window to the outside street but The window in the room picture is in the wall to the hallway. It is lit and you cant see out or in. "

"We arrived at 430pm and was told our room should be ready in an hour. Went to grab some food came back at 830pm and room still was not ready. After another 1/2 hour they gave me a room with 2 beds looking at a building when I had booked a deluxe King Bayview. I was paying $500 per night for this room. They finally gave me a $50 per night discount which was ridiculous. Get to room had not been properly cleaned. When asked for bar of soap at first told they were out, but finally found me one. We had stayed at your property in September and it was a totally different experience with staff, room and every aspect, so I recommended this hotel to the couple traveling with us and then we had this terrible experience. I am also Vice President for National Travel and have recommended your porperty to many clients which I no longer will be doing. I was told you had a change of management recently which I am assuming is responsible for the decline. "
