Baru Island Hotel Guide - Hotels with Connecting Rooms in Baru Island, Cartagena

A piece of paradise. Amazing stay. Huge thanks to all of the staff who treats you like family. Everyone was Incredibly friendly. Wonderful beach. All restaurants and bars are top notch. Certainly the place to be and will return!

Good hotel but a couple of things to be improved: 1. It doesn’t have a private beach space (as other hotels in front of the beach) 2. Slow check in 3. No nice bar to have drinks after 8pm 4. Service in general is not outstanding (it’s “ok”)

Overall the hotel is great - staff super friendly, common areas very clean, rooms comfortable. Room turning / cleaning is not included in booking and should be made clear there’s an extra charge. Location has nothing near it so you need to always go to the centre to eat etc.

The hotel is in a renovated old building in the center of old Cartagena - while the wifi was a little ropey, the staff were great and restaurant was delicious. Thanks to all!

Very basic hotel, expected as a holiday inn express, great location. Breakfast could be better. But at the check in time I got "upgraded" to an early checked in to a horrible smelly room. Shame the person who looked after us, told me it was the only room available, but lucky enough someone else moved us straight away.

I cannot fault this hotel. The service and room were perfect. The views were stunning. Only thing missing is a decent bar but I would stay here again. Thanks!
