"Beautiful location, friendly staff, good restaurant "

"We were expecting to book her because of all the good reviews and because it’s a dog friendly hotel. But my husband and are were so disappointed. I honestly don’t feel the rooms were very clean. Walking in there was a weird smell. But i figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt because it did look like the rooms are pretty outdated. First night there supposedly housekeeping cleans our rooms every day, and when we get back from our hike the room did not look like it was clean, only the trash was taken out . When we go to shower we find 2 dirty towels. One of them was so dirty it would be hard to miss when looking at them . When I call the from desk lady Was nonchalant about the issue no apologies whatsoever all she said was that she would let housekeeping know and laundry. When I also brought up the room not being cleaned she said they Don’t do the beds if there’s personal stuff on them which there wasn’t. I felt she didn’t care of what I had to say or how I felt all she did was make excuses for what happened.. I Don’t recommend this place !! "

When we arrived, the power was unexpectedly out in the area, but the host met us right away, explained the situation clearly, and walked us through the house to make sure we were comfortable and knew where everything was. We really appreciated the communication and personal touch.The home itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing long weekend. It had everything we were looking for and felt very welcoming.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!"

"Had a wonderful stay, cabin was cozy and very comfortable! They have a lot in case you forget anything be it activities, spices, books, games, very grateful. We went to Yosemite Park each day. We went in January so a lot of things were closed due to winter so be prepared. More trails were closed than we hoped but wonderful views where we did go."
