Elegant farmhouse, with private pool, table tennis & ping pong in Val D'orcia,

"Our stay was excellent in every way. The villa is lovely, inside and out. Perfectly appointed and decorated with everything you need to have the most enjoyable holiday. Vanessa ( owner's daughter) communicated with us before, during and at the end of our stay and made sure everything was perfect. The pool and grounds are also lovely. Wonderful beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms and large kitchen and dining area- perfect for the night we had Andre ( the chef recommended by Vanessa) and his 2. Daughters cooks a delicious dinner with our entire family. Bedrooms are all very private with each its own beautiful bathroom. Owner has decorated this villa to perfection. Great location also for doing some day trips to the nearby towns. This was a wonderful stay- very peaceful location. Highly recommend to anyone with a large group who wants to truly experience Tuscany at it best."

"Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel d’une semaine à la Villa San Michèle. La villa, rénovée avec goût en conservant un cachet toscan, et le site sont magnifiques. La vue sur la vallée est à couper le souffle et la piscine très belle et bien entretenue. L’accueil a été très chaleureux et les communications efficaces. La villa est à une trentaine de minutes de plusieurs jolis villages à visiter avec de très bons choix de restaurant. (La Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia)"

"This is the place where I stayed the longest and enjoyed the most during my trip to Italy. It's located on a small hillside in the heart of Val d'Orcia. After a 1km forest path, the view suddenly opens up to vast lawns and sweeping valley scenery. The host, Letizia, is a kind elderly lady who doesn't speak English, but we communicated smoothly using a translation app – she is very warm and welcoming. The house is spacious, cozy, and decorated in classic rustic style. She came by every day to check if we needed anything; my son played with her on the lawn, and her cat is also very cute – my son spent time with it every day. We watched pink sunsets in the evening, and admired the valley mist in the morning – everything was wonderful. It was a bit cool in May, and the gas-powered wall heater came with an extra cost, which she clearly explained in advance. If you want to experience local life, connect with people, and love nature, I highly recommend staying here! A 10-minute walk away there's a family-run winery – we booked a wine tasting tour by email. Also, walking up to the hilltop village of Compiglia and climbing Rocca peak are great off-the-beaten-path activities."

"There is magic in this home. I can only say the very best of things about it and about the host. We’re not typical tourists…my son is in a medical crisis. I needed a sanctuary to stay while we waited for his Dr in Rome and that’s exactly what we found here. I have been traveling for 4 months to try and save my child. We’ve stayed many places. This is one place that has now become the absolute turning point in our story. We went from feeling completely defeated to feeling hope again. There’s literally not a bad thing about it. It’s the most perfect place you could stay…especially to visit the waters. It’s very special and I thank you so much for being such a gracious and kind host in our time of need. I can pretty much guarantee you that, you will not be disappointed staying here."

"We have vacationed in this beautiful house several times and are always happy to return. The house is very well maintained and offers a fantastic view of the Tuscan hills. The bathrooms in some rooms have been renovated, and this has been done very well. We were very pleased with the new gas grill on the covered terrace. The owner always strives to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We will definitely return to this beautiful house."
