"Close to Hotel des Villes, Notre Dame. Great breakfast buffet. Le Marais is a bit funky and rough, so maybe better for young people? Great hotel though- our room was on 6 th floor with an attic style dormer and window that opened. Views of Notre Dame! Lots of coffee, cafes and bars nearby."

"We wanted a place that was close to the sites, but not “in” the scene and this place was perfect. 15 mins to The Louvre and Notre Dame, right by the Metro to get to every other location. Also, the area itself was a plethora of fun things to do and see. The hotel itself is AMAZING. Pop Art line’s the halls and stairwells. Kitschy items are everywhere and are so pleasing to the eye. The staff is lovely AND there are hotel dogs!!! Fifi and Noisette (the hotel poodles) stole my heart immediately. Would definitely stay here again and again!"

"This was my second stay at this property, and I continue to love the location. It’s just one block from the Louvre and right in the middle of so many great restaurants and shops. You really can’t go wrong with this location when staying in Paris. This time, there were only two of us, but we booked a triple room because it was the only room available. It turned out to be a great choice—the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. My biggest complaint was the bathroom, which was incredibly dark. They provide a nice makeup mirror, but unfortunately, it’s difficult to use because there simply isn’t enough light. There’s also very little shelving or counter space for toiletries, which was inconvenient. I rebooked this hotel because the listing stated that it had air conditioning. While it does, the entire building is apparently kept at around 68°F. That may be comfortable for some people, but I prefer my room much colder when I sleep. Fortunately, they provided us with a Dyson fan, which helped. The staff was just okay. Everyone was pleasant enough, but they didn’t really go out of their way to be helpful. One other thing I would caution guests about is the hotel’s airport transportation. We were quoted one price initially, but were charged a different amount at the end of the trip—and then were asked for a tip on top of that. I did bring this to the attention of the hotel’s GM so that he is aware of the experience and the company being recommended to his guests."

"Stunning little hotel. Friendly, helpful staff and a superb breakfast. Air conditioned lobby and rooms were so welcome during the recent heatwave. The hotel is perfectly located, just one street away from the Seine with easy access to the lovely riverside walks and across to Notre Dame etc. We were thrilled to have found this gem!!!"

"Very nice and spacious room. Clean. Simple kitchenette facilities were more than enough for us. A fridge and a coffee machine is perfect. Very nice private courtyard to relax in, away from the bustle of the streets nearby. Easy walking distance to several Metros and many many restaurants and bars."

"It was a great location! The apartment was just like described. It was comfortable for our family of four with the extra bed. It felt safe. Our only issue was the washing machine did not work very well but the rest was great!!!!"

"This is our second time staying in hotel Britannique and enjoyed both stays equally well. The location in Paris is superb right beside the Louvre meaning everything is a short walk away. The hotel is romantic and quaint. I’ve recommended it to several friends and they enjoyed their stays too. I can’t recommend it highly enough. We are already planning our next visit."
