"Excellent house! We had two cool days and several warm days. The heated pool was the perfect temperature and the hot tub was great for the cool days. Communication was excellent. The furnishings and decor are as pictured. It’s really cool that you can bring your own boat. We didn’t, but it’s a nice option. There is plenty of room to spread out for larger groups. One note, there is no table indoors other than the counter. There is a great, covered outdoor table and we ate all of our meals there. It was wonderful. While possible, a walk to the beach would not be easy, especially with children. It was a very short and easy ride though. I was a little surprised by the neighborhood. I assumed being on the canal that all of the houses would be nicer and well kept. This is definitely one of the nicer homes in the neighborhood. Some of the homes are nice like this one, and some need quite a bit of work. Some of the close/direct neighbors seemed to be operating businesses out of the homes with commercial equipment filling the yards all week. This is really the only negative and probably won’t bother most but if you’re expecting a neighborhood of classic OBX shingled vacation homes like this one, this is not it."

"Literally the best place we’ve ever stayed, and we do beach trips a lot. Everything is there so you don’t have to lug in your own like beach cart, chairs, beach towels, etc. and the hot tub is so cleaner and divine. They continuously check on it so I was confident on how clean it was (and I am very picky about that!). Well air conditioned (this is a thing for us) and still plenty to do even if weather isn’t great like it was for us for a couple of days. Host was so responsive, place was incredibly clean, and loved every minute of it. Well priced and below what others were charging and it’s the first time I’ve seen a place and thought it was wayyyyyyy nicer than the pictures. Arcade was loved by the kiddo, and it seriously could not have been better. Easy walk across a not very busy street and beach access was right there. It was too cold to swim the days we were there but the pool is right outside the house. I would give ten stars if I could."

"Overall stay was ok. Pros- close to beach, walking distance to some stores and restaurants. Short drive to others. Big enough space for us and our dog. Cons- not many amenities provided- 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towel. 1 travel size dish soap, hand soap and lotion. Would be nice if there was a fly swatter and shovel. NEED a heavy duty vehicle if parking there. Picture provided on the site is far from what it looks like now. Mounds of sand and overgrowth around cottages. They could level out the sand and clean up around the cottages. Nice stay but I’d probably book a different cottage next time."

"Clean, comfortable, and spacious! As with all properties on Outer Banks, the huge sand duned block the view of the ocean. No worries, the ocean was just a few stop up and over on a new boardwalk. Enjoyed Pickelball markings on the tennis cout. Easy drive or bike ride to area attractions."

"We enjoyed our stay at this property. Right on the beach with beach views from the upper King master bedroom. This condo was perfect for our stay with 2 moms and 2 adult daughters. 3 bathrooms are nice. The only bedroom with a tv is the King master. Although there were starter paper towels, TP, dish soap, etc. there wasn't the usual things you find in a rental either provided by the host or left by past guests like salt and pepper, plastic wrap/foil - those kind of things. There was literally nothing other than what the rental company left to get us started. The condo is advertised with it's community pool but it was not open during our stay (May 14-18). There was no mention of this in the description of the property. It should have been disclosed and stated clearly that the pool would NOT be open during our stay. The perk of the pool weighed into our decision to rent here. All in all it's a nice place and we enjoyed our time. We rented through VRBO but the property is managed by a rental company. Communication with the rental company was excellent."
