"This condo has the best beach view of any condo I have ever seen anywhere. You can see the beach from the kitchen. If it’s cold you can sit by the windows and enjoy the beach just like you are on the balcony. Imagine 2 perfect lounge chairs on the balcony so you can relax and just enjoy the ocean. The ad doesn’t mention but you also have another balcony with a sound view. Did you forget some items? Don’t worry this owner has you covered. I have never stayed at a condo where so many personal touches were thought of. The kitchen has a coffee pot and k cup combined. So don’t worry if you are used to k-cups. The owner takes care of you with restaurant recommendations and is extremely responsive. The only problem with this condo is being able to stay long enough. Trust me you will never want to leave. This is perfect for couples and families and is closer to the ocean than any place I have seen in the Outer Banks. "

"Pros-the house is great! Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Love that there are two master bedrooms on different levels, along with a living room on each floor. Very close to the beach, easy walk. Close to shopping and restaurants. Probably one of the cleanest rental homes I have ever been to. Cons-really the cons have nothing to do with the rental or the owners. The problem is the rental company. On vrbo it indicates that check in is 3 pm and check out 11 am. However, according to the rental company the check in time is 4-6 pm and checkout is 10am. I mentioned to the reality company the discrepancy and they were less than accommodating about this. Also, when you check into the home, every television indicates that the checkout time is 11 am. I have screen shots of both of these things and shared it with the rental company. They indicate that it’s not their fault that there is a misinformation because you signed a contract stating the times.I asked if it was possible to get a guaranteed check in time of 4 pm as we were all coming from different directions and needed a definite check in time.I was told I could pay 100 for an early check in time.I did not want to check in early, just wanted a confirmed check in time of 4pm.I should not be required to pay extra for that. I have rented homes in numerous countries with numerous different reality companies and have never had a rolling check in time. Also, power went out and reality company wanted me to call to report It"

"I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. Lisa, the innkeeper, was very helpful and friendly. Beth, the Manager and breakfast chef was super hospitable. With the beach just a short walk away...we could not have asked for a better value stay on the OBX. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip."
