"Can’t say enough about this BEAUTIFUL house!! It had plenty of privacy for so many bedrooms, with each having their own bathrooms! Plenty of open yard, with an easy-access boat/kayak ramp! I wanted to buy this house!!! LOVED IT!! The ONLY advice I would give the renter is to leave DETAILED instructions on how to work the kitchen appliances. A lot of “pushing buttons” to get things to work. And, if I’m not mistaken, we believed the appliances are set to “remote access” maybe for safety reasons (which is understandable, if things are left on). For instance, we slow cooked ribs in the oven and noticed the oven automatically shut off after a few hours. So, we had to turn it on again. If we didn’t realize the shut off in time, that would have been bad for dinner. Just something to keep in mind if you’re slow roasting dinner. Also, we found a broken glass in the dishwasher when we loaded, so the cleaners might want to include checking the dishwasher in their check-list. Fantastic place - So peaceful and majestic !!! I would stay every weekend if I could!!"

"Our family of eight (2 adults, 2 teens, and 4 kids) had a wonderful stay at this Lake Anna home. The house was exactly as advertised, and everything matched the listing photos and description.One of the biggest surprises was how well equipped the kitchen was. We enjoy cooking together on vacation, and this home had the best cookware we've ever experienced in a rental. It made preparing meals easy and enjoyable.The house was beautifully decorated, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the bedding was high quality. There were plenty of floats for everyone to enjoy, and the fishing right from the property was a lot of fun for both the kids and adults.The only advice we'd give future guests is to reserve a boat as early as possible. Rentals on the private side of Lake Anna can be limited, especially during the busy season, so booking ahead is well worth it.Overall, this is an outstanding property that exceeded our expectations. We'd happily stay here again and would highly recommend it to families looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and well-equipped getaway."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! The home was comfortable, well-appointed, and the view was absolutely stunning. The boathouse was a highlight—we spent hours enjoying the floats and kayaks on the lake. We also loved relaxing and playing games in the covered outdoor area, and the firepit made for a perfect evening by the water. The beds were very comfortable, and the house had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing family getaway. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"Phenomenal house! There were lots of features that really set it above and beyond. The property has a pizza oven and Traeger grill which was perfect for us since our whole family likes to cook. There was also a wonderful game room with a pool table where we spent a lot of time. My family had a wonderful week and would happily stay again!!"

"My family and I just returned from a wonderful week-long stay at this home. The house is outstanding...many bedrooms, updated bathrooms, a fantastic basement game room (with large TV, board games, a Wii, pool, & ping pong) and an open-plan, extremely well-equipped kitchen. Something I really enjoy when staying at vacation homes is when the owners are kind enough to include some of the household basics, and this house did! Foil, plastic wrap, baggies, spices, vegetable and olive oil, extra batteries for remotes, plenty of cleaning supplies...this house had it all. There was room for the food we brought in the cabinets, which is also a feature I love when staying at a home. The full-sized extra fridge in the basement for overflow drinks or food was a great thing too.The waterfront area is a short, paved walk away and it's supplied with great polywood chairs. We used the kayaks almost daily. This summer, the lake level is low (not the owner's fault!) but we were able to rent a pontoon boat and moor it at the end of the dock safely. We were concerned about water depth for that upon arrival but it worked well. The cove is nice and safe for swimming, boating, floating, etc. even though it's close to larger open water. No floats present but we brought a few of our own. Management was super communicative and check-in and out was easy. They set up the front door with a unique digital lock code.I'd rent this house again without hesitation, and will look to if we return to Lake Anna."

"We booked this home to celebrate my mom's bithday (which happened to also be USA's 250th birthday, July 4th). The home was excellent, exactly as shown. The property was great and very well maintained. It was too hot to use the hot tub, so most of our swimming was at the lake. The beach was lovely to have since we have a 5-yo who isn't thrilled about jumping off things into water (and cant really swim yet) - she absolutely loved being able to walk in and out of the water. We also kayak/paddleboard, so it was very easy to launch. All in all, the home was very comfortable and the property was lovely! Would definitely book again and recommend to families!"
