"The innkeeper, Beck, is awesome. Right from the reservation to the departure, she was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts served were always hot, fresh and tasty. Our room was cozy and comfortable. The folks we ate with at the community table were very interesting and friendly. We definitely will come back."

"The house was great, like stepping back into history. Location was fantastic. Beds were small and not very comfortable. The hot water heater was not very efficient. Could not take a bath and a shower at the same time without running out. FYI, the stairs to the loft are very steep, probably not great for really young children. If the beds and the hot water issues were resolved, I would give it five stars."

"Refreshingly beautiful and well renovated place in the Homestead! The pictures were accurate, the condo was well outfitted with towels, kitchen equipment, linens, etc. The beach chairs could use an upgrade, they were in good condition, but not comfortable. I also wish it was more clear that their was no air conditioning in the unit. In general, we didn't need it except for the first few nights which were unusually warm. We were able to use some of the fans that were available in the unit, however, one fan was broken and not usable. Otherwise, it was a great stay, beds were extremely comfortable, and the perfect place to escape to!"

"Had a great stay in Glen Arbor at this condo in The Homestead! Unit was very nice and clean and as described in the listing. It was a bit humid/musty in the unit, but after opening the windows and airing it out and running the a/c, it was fine (being from FL, we loved having a/c). The area was just stunning and we had a great time exploring Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park and other areas of northern Michigan including Traverse City and Mackinac Island. We had a great dinner at Nonna's restaurant at The Homestead too. This unit was priced much better than other units in the area and we are glad we found it. Hope to come back again :)"

"The most beautiful lake view makes climbing the stairs worth it! Kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of linens and space is older, but great for a beach vacation. Porch was great and beds were very comfortable. We will go back!"
