"This home is much more than we expected. It’s beautifully decorated and was very clean. The owner was extremely easy to communicate with and wanted to ensure our stay was perfect. The leaves were starting to turn color which made driving just beautiful. Many nice beaches for rockhounding. Restaurants in town were really good and the coffee shop in the old mill was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again when in the area."

"We loved our stay at this cottage, it was super quiet and peaceful. It has a large lake frontage with direct lake access with stunning views. Swans, ducks, geese, fly overhead and make it all very peaceful. Super clean, very nicely appointed and updated and very comfortable.We enjoyed the convenience of having the kayaks right on the property. The location it’s great and is close to so many sites with a short drive to many good restaurants. Excellent communication by the hosts with very quick responses to any questions. Thank you so much again! "

"We very much enjoyed our stay for our family birthday celebration. Although we live in northern Michigan, we had never been to the Leelanau Peninsula, so we had great fun exploring. Highlights included Leland/Fish Town where the huge salmon were quite visible leaping up stream, and Hop Lot brew garden. The three levels of the home provided ample space for playing games and joining each other. If the weather had been warmer, we certainly would’ve enjoyed spending time on the lake. Josh was very quick to respond to my few questions. "

"It was a great location and had a gorgeous view of the lake. Quiet area and close to all shops, restaurants and hiking. But , we would not stay here again. The cleanliness of the house was really bad and it had a smell, probably because of how dirty and dusty it was. I understand a vacation rental isn’t going to be perfect but this went beyond, especially for paying almost 5000 for the week. All the lamp shades and plastic plants were covered in dust. Some areas of the carpet were crunchy. The bedding smelled like “body”. The upholstered furniture was stained. There were several ant traps in the kitchen and 2 fly papers hanging in the kitchen. The kitchen sink was dirty and we had to wash pots and pans before using. The water was so metallic, you couldn’t drink it and you smelled like the water after taking a shower. We did not contact the owner because we were already there and wouldn’t get a refund. If they would have sent a cleaning crew, it would have taken an entire day from us, unfortunately. "
