"Beautiful historic property. Lots of neat history, almost like you're staying in a museum. Beautiful town, lake, beach, and close to a lot of restaurants, hiking trails, the marina, and parks. It's not a modern facility, but it has that cute historic vibe that's perfect for a weekend away. The pool is amazing."

"We hosted our three daughters and their families for family vacation. There was plenty of room for everyone and my six grandchildren loved the first floor bedrooms and especially the game room in between. The old time video game was a big hit! The private beach and boat dock were a perfect match for us as everyone loved the kayaking and paddling and floating. We even caught four decent size small mouth bass. The views of the lake and Mountain from the decks were spectacular. The kitchen was well stocked and we found everything we needed for the meals that we cooked. We even used the fire pit to make s’mores."

"Lake Lure is a fabulous place for a family vacation, and this house is located where you can walk to the center of activities, swimming pools, lake, mini golf, tennis/pickleball courts, etc. The house is very comfortable and worked great for our extended family. We would highly recommend this place for a stay at Lake Lure."

"This was our 3rd stay at this resort and this is definitely our favorite place. The views are amazing from both sides of the unit. You can’t beat a lake right outside your door! The host also made it even more enjoyable by providing everything we needed to enjoy time on the water. We will definitely stay here again."

"Excellent place in the perfect location. Everything we needed was in place for us. The back screened in porch was so peaceful and relaxing. We sat there for hours watching wildlife and folks enjoying the lake.The host was very reachable and communicated with us often to check on our comfort.Having Rumbling Bald activities so close was amazing!We plan to return and will try to get the same place again!"

"I can’t say enough about this beautiful lakefront home. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views of the lake and mountains! There are several seating areas which provided ample room for our group of 11. The decor was cozy and elegant. We enjoyed morning coffee on the expansive decks and sunset views that were breathtaking.The amenities were nothing short of amazing…hot tub, pool table, shuffleboard, basketball, floats, kayaks, paddle boards , cornhole and we took advantage of them all. Never a dull moment. Great chef kitchen and the fire pit added a special touch for evening s’mores! The kids had a blast!Our host, Jose, was very welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Our stay was just plain WONDERFUL!"

"This was the best VRBO experience I have ever had. The host is excellent and provides you will all the information that you will need. The little details at the house make all the difference. I would suggest renting the golf cart and pulling the wagon behind it. We had 3 family's staying at the house and there was plenty of space and things to do for all ages. We will definitely be staying here again!"
