"The cabin was exceptionally clean with a very well-stocked kitchen. Very comfortable bed with absolute beautiful views from every room. Very quiet neighborhood. We will continue to pray for everyone’s recovery from Helene."

"Communication with the host was great, pre-trip and during our stay. The view of the mountain was fabulous. Even though the lake was still drained 30 feet for hurricane cleanup and recovery, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The open floor plan is nice. Especially with the bedroom level having its own lounging area. The grocery store is only 10 minutes away. Restaurants even closer. "

"We were very happy with this house- fantastic view and tons of room for 6 retired ladies on their annual ladies trip. We met the host Gwen who gave us some great recommendations and also quickly fixed a minor issue. We enjoyed the restaurants in Lake Lure. GreyHawk and Lured had great outdoor spaces and food. All of us agreed (no small feat for six 60 ladies) that we will return to Lake Lure next year and to this house!"

"The house was great - had tons of beautiful spaces throughout and everything worked well. The view was stunning, even with Lake Lure being low on water during the clean up. The pool was nice, though very warm! The house was well appointed with several items that we needed/wanted during the stay. Probably one of the most However, the house wasn’t as clean as we expected when we came in. There was a lot of dirt/hair on the floors, as well as confetti and balloons that must have been the last people in the house. After we left, we even got a phone call asking if we had a pet there bc they found evidence of a pet while cleaning. This was pet hair that was present when we arrived at the house. "

"Flee infested and absolutely disgusting. We had to take off our shoes and socks off before we got back in our car as we immediately left and cancelled.... It should also be noted that upstairs and downstairs are not connected inside. Overgrown yard and did I mention the flees????? I would unlisted this property for rent immediately!"
