River Gem on the river with a private location

"We’ve stayed in many beautiful homes in the area over the years, and this one may have been our favorite.The property was absolutely beautiful, spacious, and private. We loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch, watching the sunset over the mountains, and spending time down by the creek. Our boys had so much fun splashing around and tubing a bit, though you cannot go too far since there is not really a clear drop-in or drop-out point.Even the campfire area was perfect. We were pleasantly surprised that the bugs were not overwhelming, and we loved seeing wildlife, including bunnies on the property. The house was well equipped, spacious, and comfortable, and despite the remote setting, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The hosts were also very kind and helpful whenever we needed anything.The driveway is quite steep, which we jokingly called “the roller coaster,” so I imagine it could be challenging in the winter. Our Jeep handled it just fine, though. The location is excellent because while it feels very private, you are still close to downtown, grocery stores, and local attractions. Bell Mountain was stunning and only about 10 minutes away.We did notice homes being built on part of the open property, which may eventually affect some of the privacy that makes this location so special. Even so, we would definitely come back again!"

"What an amazing vacation spot! Staff is amazing and courteous! Very friendly and helpful! The suite/cabin are was very clean and beautifully decorated. Beautiful views! Highly recommend! We will be here again next year!"

"Cabin is clean. Easy to get to. Extra directions given led us astray, used the address and found it easily. Could use a few more towels. Cleanliness problem was with the mattresses. When we removed sheets, the mattresses need to be cleaned. Overall, property is good."

"We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house with a great location. The place feels spacious and welcoming and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed playing board games and sitting with coffee on the screened-in patio. It was fun to see fireflies on the lawn (we're from the West Coast so we don't get them). When we accidentally left an item behind, the owner was very helpful in helping us get it back. All in all a great stay and we'd love to stay here again next time we visit!"
