"This property is beautiful and located close to Lake Chatuge and the fairgrounds. It was clean and as described The only real issue we had was with the communication. You see, a week or so before we were to come I received a message from the property management asking for us to pay the remaining balance on this rental. However, I’d paid it all in full to VRBO over a month prior. This may have been an issue between VRBO and the management company. Next upon check in, we noticed there was water in the master bathroom floor. We let them management know. We also told them the toilet was also running constantly and we were told it’d be fixed asap. The next day we asked them to please fix the washer asap as we needed it. The next day water was in the floor again, toilet still running, and we contacted again. No response. Not fixed. Finally the day before we checked out, I called again and told them (on voicemail again) that I expected some compensation/refund as I was never able to do laundry. Someone texted me and told me I would get some sort of refund to my credit card, but never told me how much. The property is great. The communication, not so much. I left with the toilet still running and the washer not working and leaking water into the floor. Looked like it had been a while too bc the flooring was beginning to bubble up. Only other issue is not enough bath towels for two bathrooms and a hot tub."

"Loved loved loved this property for our family of 6! The location was perfect and the private covered dock was top notch. Many family friendly things to do in the area and we rented a boat for the weekend from Young Harris Watersports just around the corner. The house was super cute and quaint. We loved the covered porch and fire pit area. Inside, the beautiful sunroom was the kids’ favorite hangout area. The rooms were nicely appointed and spacious. If you have very young children, just be mindful that the layout is master bedroom on top floor and 2 bedrooms on the bottom floor, and 1 of those bedrooms has an exterior door. We felt safe putting our teens in the room with the exterior door and then our elementary aged kids in the other room. The house had lots of thoughtful touches like mini fridge in the lower level, charging cords, and basic necessities. The hosts were very nice and super responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend!"
