Torch Lake Sandbar Waterfront Home - with Dock!

"We had an amazing time and the house worked well for friends and family. The home is very clean and well cared for and the kitchen is fully stocked with amenities. Anja is a lovely host and it was great to meet both she and her husband. Weather was great and we enjoyed boating on the lake. Check in and check out process very easy. We would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again!"

"My husband and I were very impressed with how clean the cabin was and how well stocked the kitchen was. The bathroom you need to bring your own hair products and soap; it does have hand soap. The host, Paul, stayed in touch with us throughout our stay. The town is so cute and everyone we came into contact with was very friendly. There is a short cut to walk to the beach and a place to park a boat. To be honest you can hear traffic noise, not that there's a lot of it during the night. It would be helpful if there were reflective markers at the driveway to help find it in the dark. We will definitely stay there again."

Sandy Beach Cottage on Torch Lake, in Alden

"Torch Lake water is so clean and clear; it was amazing! The location of the cottage is waterfront with a small sandy beach into the lake which was great for launching floatables and for dogs and people walking in for a dip. We enjoyed the cottage accommodations; the beds were comfortable and bedrooms tidy, and the living room/dining room gave our 9-month crawler plenty of space to move about and investigate her toys and the recyclable bottles and cardboard boxes which we had emptied in the course of our stay. It was great being so close to the coffee shop which was an every day event during our stay. The street side provided a great strip for dog walking and greeting neighbors vacationing there and taking the stroller out for a nap time walk. We sat at the end of the dock to enjoy the Perseid Meteor Showers due especially to the New Moon but also to limited light from other sources in the area midweek. The host was helpful and communicated well during our stay, although I did have a challenge getting in touch during the winter to spring. Thanks for the great lake front vacation week!"
