"Shanty Creek was a great place to stay. The room was spacious, clean, and private. The restaurant on site had fun specials after 5 pm and there was a shuttle that took you to the bar in town. Pool area seemed well kept, and so did the grounds in general. I'd totally stay here again. "

"Alisa was great. Provided all the information we needed for our stay. Cottage is located on the beautiful south shore. Amazing views of the lake. The cottage is comfortable and had everything we needed. The dock/deck was outstanding for sunbathing and incredible sunset views. Plenty of outdoor seating was available. We will definitely stay again. "

"Charming cottage within walking distance of Alden Michigan. The place was VERY clean and the kitchen well stocked with all needed utensils and kitchen items!! Bathrooms VERY clean as well and plenty of sitting areas for guests. We had 2 nights with 11 guests and everyone had a bed and extra bedding was provided! Great dock with ample deck chairs and a mooring buoy which held our 24’ master craft boat all week long! "

"This property was a perfect fit for our family of 6. The house and property had everything we needed and several extra touches that made it very comfortable and inviting.
