"Room was clean! The view was great sitting on the balcony! "

"We have a mini fridge but didn't have a microwave. We wanted to warm up leftovers but when we called the front desk they said they would bring one up but it would cost $20 We just threw the leftovers away when we left."

"We stayed for a few nights for our spring break. This is a motel style building with a pool, a bar next door (attached to pool lounge area) and trail to the ocean. There are also public access areas to the beach on either side. The motel rooms are simple and clean with air conditioning. Our bathroom didn’t have a fan which isn’t ideal but ok. The bar service was fine in the pool area. The local food and bars are amazing and there is so much with in walking distance! The Seahorse staff was super kind! You do have to pay $20 per night for parking. It’s a very busy area."

"I made a reservation and was confirmed for a king suite. Upon arrival, I was informed that there were no king suites and that it was overbooked with Expedia. I had to settle for a queen suite (which was NOT what I wanted, nor paid for). Overall, the desk staff was friendly, though there were plenty of times when I, or other patrons, had to wait as they would be not be visible, but in the back. The elevator was out of service for one of the days and it was extremely inconvenient traveling to the third floor to a room I didn’t choose. The breakfast was good. The hotel was clean. Parking was easy, a lot of construction on the street in front of the hotel "

"We love this hotel. So close to everything. They are going through a hefty reno so that is inconvenient but we are excited for the upgraded property and the new rooms are so nice."

"This was our first time staying at a Vrbo, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home—and one of the biggest highlights was how truly pet-friendly the property was. Being able to bring our dog along made the trip even more special, and it was clear the home was welcoming not just for us, but for furry family members too.Another huge plus was the location. Everything we needed was within walking distance—great restaurants and the beach were just a short stroll away. It made everything so easy and stress-free, no driving or planning needed.Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations in every way. It was comfortable, fun, and perfectly located. "Very cute updated 60’s-vibe motel. Perfect for our short stay in the Jacksonville beach area. We checked in on our own, with no problems. (Clear instructions emailed the day before.) The room Was clean, amenities nice, comfortable bed with lots of pillows. We did not have housekeeping, but technically really didn’t need. There was a coffee shop on premises, which is apparently popular with local runners after their beach run, and because our room was upfront across from the shop, we had about 10-20 chatty people milling around right outside our door at 7 am. Parking was tight… but overall everything was really just as expected… as I had also read the previous reviews. There was lots of shops and conveniences near by, the beach was a 7-10 minute walk. I would definitely stay again… ! "
