"What a great hotel within walking distance from the train station. Nice, inviting lobby. The staff were excellent. Room was very comfortable, and loved the bathroom. Most are very small in Switzerland, this was very nice. Big shower with a rain shower and wand. Sink was a little slow to drain. Breakfast had a variety of choices. Excellent stay after 20 days solo traveling around Switzerland. "

"Shame there is no restaurant anymore. Good selection for breakfast, all nicely laid out but the hot food - scrambled egg, bacon, sausage had been on display for a long time and was cold. Parking very expensive."

"Very well located in the Altstadt, no more than a few minutes’ walk from the ferry quay and the railway station. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good."
