This hotel was excellent. The location was within walking distance to Forbidden City. Conveniently located to a lot of shopping- lots of local food near by. It had an excellent buffet style breakfast with many local and American options. Was extremely affordable. We had breakfast there everyday of our stay. The staff was super friendly and many spoke English. The only thing which isn’t a deal breaker- the bathroom tub and toilet were a little dated but the rest of the room was excellent and beds were very comfy.

Wonderful stay with excellent service. The staff were welcoming and professional. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything I need. The location was perfect, next to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street and walking distance to subway stations. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is close enough to pedestrian street, Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and metro station. In saying that, as Beijing is huge, still exhausted with this close walk. Price is good. Staff is friendly. Room is big. Quiet, safe and clean. Bathroom facilities need upgrading though.

Old decoration, falling off walls, old and poorly maintained interior environment, only the lobby can still maintain the confidence of the 1990s. Those Beijing natives who look down on others have an inexplicable pride (of course, this is only when they face the Chinese)

Good hotel, great location

The hotel is in an excellent location. Breakfast was enjoyable, and the staff were very kind and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, which made for a comfortable stay. However, the room decor is quite outdated and would benefit from a general refresh, particularly in the bathroom.

Property is a bit tiered but in totally functional condition. You will see touch up paint and some cracks around caulking and stuff. But in general if such small details don’t bother you, everything else is good. Good bed and clean room.

Only a few hundred meters to huge pedestrian mall. Close to subway. Near major tourtist must sees! Incredibly helpful staff. Lots of small restaurants in the area. Very nice rooms. You can book AND PAY! for taxis at the hotel, so no drama with Alipay or currency exchange. Was there for a week and a half and would stay there again very happily! Was there for mix of business and pleasure and perfect for both.
