We have been staying at this hotel for the past three years and have always appreciated our stays. However, this time was a very disappointing experience.
We understand that the hotel is somewhat outdated, but the condition of the room we were given was unacceptable. We were allocated a ground-floor room with a horrible smell, to the point that we couldn’t wait to leave.
Considering the rates are not cheap, we expected at least basic facilities and a reasonable standard of maintenance. Unfortunately, the bathroom was in poor condition, with visible damage that had clearly not been addressed, along with very old and unpleasant taps and fittings.
As returning guests, it was particularly disappointing to see such a lack of maintenance and investment in the property. The experience was bad enough that I have now cancelled our future booking. This is especially disappointing after staying with you for the past three years.
I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues, because at the current standard, the experience does not justify the prices being charged.

"Superb! Accommodation is amazing, clean and beautifully presented. Owners are friendly and can’t do enough for you. Breakfast is wonderfully served and lots of choice. Parking can be an issue when busy but this is a very minor point. Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again."

"Room was clean though it had a slight smell. Parking was rough. They had a big lot but there was not room for parking our rental so we had to wait for someone to leave when we parked. It was perfect for our needs I would stay again."
