"Everything from the welcome of the staff, the room itself, very modern, clean and all that you need, a great view overlooking ‘The Port’ and breakfast the next morning. We’d definitely stay there again should we need an overnighter in Newport. Highly recommend."

"Room was very spacious. Bath was a bonus. Parking next door in NCP carpark was only £7.95 for 24 hours. Literally on Newport high street next to all the shops. Only one complaint, the breakfast could have been hotter "

"Friendly, simple check -in. Easy parking in multistory just behind which can be added to the room. Great TV, good shower and comfy bed. Roomy flat with good equipment level in the kitchen. Some welcome gifts too (tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid and tea towels) which were very welcome. Mini supermarket located just below too. "

"House was well appointed and close to railway station, and very roomy. Negatives....only one bathroom which is not on bedroom floor (difficult to access in middle of night!), Too many stairs for us older folks. No instructions for TV. Not enough towels or wastebaskets. Steep walk up and down hill to access house. Could use some homey touches like teabags, condiments. Pretty spare. But, all in all, a great deal for the money."
