"First off, all I saw on Expedia was photos of the quaint and picturesque Alpine Lodges, which was not representative of the main hotel, a twelve room building which was across the road from all the other buildings, including the main office and restaurant. There was a washed out driveway with no parking area at that main hotel, which made things awkward when the main hotel started filling up Saturday night. The room was okay, about what you would expect from a nicer hotel chain's room. The restaurant was good, staff friendly, can't speak to speed of service as we were the only ones there. Never went to the pool or spa, never was sure where it was. No clear path to the lake, especially with the construction area. Overall, it was a place to stay in a town with not a lot to do (there's a tour of a modern castle and some shops and of course the springs), but that was what we were looking to do."

"We love to come here and golf. But the course was really tore up this time. Will be back but hoping its not as bad as it was and as beautiful as it usually was. Had a few ppl who went with us and said same thing about the course."

"My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights and it was perfect! It is a beautiful cabin, quiet and secluded, and plenty of wildlife! The place is close to numerous places to eat and things to do which includes shopping, hiking, parks, history, and scenic views. The hosts, Bill and Pat, are very accommodating and easy to get in touch with for any concerns. They are very nice and super informative. We will definitely be back!!!!!!"

"We loved it! It was actually better than expected. We expected something bigger, but the size of the cabin was the perfect size. It had a hot tub and a fire pit, beautiful views, and it was safe. The beds were king size and it had a sofa bed. We are planning to come back in the winter"

"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin for our church retreat! The cabin was clean, comfortable, peaceful, and provided a beautiful setting for fellowship, prayer, and spending time together. The space was perfect for our group, and the host was very responsive and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cabin for a group retreat. We would love to stay here again!"
