We loved the Arlington. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful!! Location is perfect, close walking distance to everything we wanted to see and visit in the city. Would recommend to anyone wanting a first class experience with a reasonable price!!

Clean room, just had steps with luggage.

Pack your ear plugs and leave the cat at home. This was a one night stay in Dublin and really disappointing. The place is basic, the room was tiny with a double bed rather than the usual queen, and so noisy it felt like you were on the street with all the traffic and people going past. Our room was on the first floor at the front - with no sound insulation unless you count the bird poop all over the windows. It did however provide close up viewing of everyone on the top deck of the numerous buses going by and you could tune into everyone’s conversation as they walked by - so no end of free entertainment until the wee small hours. The receptionist who checked us in was so laid back he was practically horizontal and struggled to confirm where the airport bus stop was. He looked it up and gave us the wrong location. It was 100 ms down the road. The decor is ok - the bathroom ok but minute so no room to swing a cat anywhere. Ear plugs highly recommended if you plan on sleeping. The only thing going for this place is its proximity to st Stephen’s green - which is a hop skip and a jump away.

We are a pair of seniors and we had a room with a king sized bed which had no access from the sides. This did not work well for us and there was not another room available. Had I known this we would not have stayed there despite all of the other very positive aspects.
