Good location to both easily head downtown or back to the airport. Decent facility, although showing its age slightly. Great staff though.

Fabulous modern and stylish hotel with excellent service the 2 girls in reception were outstanding in their welcome. The room bed was enormous , linen was superb we chose a shower room which was spacious with walk in shower with a rainshower and handheld toiletries from Rituals, the breakfast was again outstanding , I guess it usually a buffet but in Covid times you have an allocated table all cold offerings are brought to your table and then you are offerred the hot with a large list of options (you can have them all if you can manage it!). Parking was free in their underground car park which was great . The Portugal shares a block with its sister hotel Mundial and you can walk across the innercourtyard to it. Mundial is more classic old elegance and has a well rated rooftop bar great for photo ops of the city. The staff of both hotels are exemplary the level of service is so high , you are never left standing for more than a few seconds without someone checking on your needs. Overall a lovely hotel in a fantastic spot for the shops, bars and restauraunts , all the main tourist sites and interesting neighbourhoods are just a short walk in each direction , we will definately stay there again when we return to this fantstic city

The staff was so kind and helpful. The location is perfect. Walking distance to so many things you want to see. I loved it there and would stay again.

Excellent location and good quality accommodation. I found the apartment well sound proofed and the air conditioning was good. I felt safe in the area. Lots of bars, restaurants and sights in short walking distance. It was handy being near Cais Sodre train station for: the metro, trips to the beach and returning to the airport.
