"The room was clean and comfortable. I love the non-carpeted floors, so clean! The only tiny thing was that the toilet tank lid had a crack in it and should be replaced. Not a big deal and I didn't even mention it to the staff assuming that every time the bathroom was cleaned, the crack was seen. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice variety of egg dishes and breads and muffins. "

"I stayed at Hotel Nell while I was in town for a conference. The room was excellent, had everything I wanted! The staff were awesome to interact with. Two problems for me - First the street noise was problematic! The hotel is located on a very busy street and there is a lot of traffic on this street 24/7. And don’t get me started on police and fire truck sirens. The staff’s fix for this was ear plugs. Second, I was attending a conference that started between 8-9am every day. The restaurant in the hotel didn’t open until 8:30 and 9am on weekends. That meant locating breakfast somewhere else which was Blue Bottle Coffee. Great little place but limited options. There were not any other options around the hotel that I could find. "

"We had a really great stay at this carriage house in Washington, DC. The home was literally brand new as stated in the description. It was very clean, comfortable, and well put together. It had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy beds and nice touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The location was a big plus - close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. They gave clear instructions and helpful recommendations, making the whole experience smooth from check-in to check-out. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Washington, DC."
