Good value for money and youth orientated
Minimalist cubicles don't have any luxury (like AC), but provided enough comfort for one night stay. Would recommend it to younger travelers as there is a lot of youth orientated activities on the location (beach volleyball, beach bar, adrenalin climbing park ...)

Very little provided for the cost. Common amenities expected at most accommodations are not available here. Cubes extremely small. Location okay because it is next to metro, but a bit away from main tourist area of Berlin.

The property was a fun concept, and the facilities were clean. The only tricky bit was that the sand tracked everywhere, but there is not much the staff can do about that. The best surprise was the 2023 special Olympics happening on-site!

Booked a cube for a group of four. Honestly, I rarely stay in hostels. This is by far the best I’ve been to. It’s a awesome atmosphere, beach volleyball, tropical feel in the middle of Berlin with great food and bars. Showers are kept pretty clean, and the cube may be small but it does the job for sleeping with a comfortable bed.

Rooms are very very small for two people. You can hear every single raindrop when it’s raining, makes the room very noisy. Towels and shower gel are not included, however in the hotel description they advertise a 2Euro fee per towel. Not worth the money, would prefer to pay a bit more and go to a proper hotel

Stayed in a two bed cube for 3 nights. Accommodation was basic but the value for money given you are just 25 minutes walk from the center of Berlin is great. Although the toilet/shower block was separate, it was heated which was nice. Overall a good place to stay if you just need a place to sleep and are going to be out and about most of the day. One thing to note was that they have a tennis court nearby and people were playing tennis (which was very loud) most of the evening and one night they didn't stop until 22:30 which given the quiet hours are 22:00-06:00 I thought was quite late.

Clean & Fun
The place was better than I anticipated. The bedding was very comfortable even though the mattress was a little firm. Everything was very clean. There was no air-conditioning but good ventilation and electrical fans in our rooms. We never needed to wait for a restroom or shower and we loved having the restaurant right next-door. Very fun and family friendly environment.

Berlin Stay
Haven’t stayed in many hostels in my time but this was ok for a one night stay. The rooms where adequate but with 4 beds and 4 people It would have been squeeze. But it is a backpackers so I guess that’s ok. The bar and food available where adequate and it was walkable to a lot of attractions.

Early check in, great private room with a fab (with is definitely necessary in the summer) the bar and beach areas are perfect for relaxing outside the room and means you don’t have to walk for more than 10 seconds for food and drink!

Communication between us and the CLUB Lodges Berlin Mitte - Hostel was excellent. As we arrived in the morning, we were able to leave our bags in the hostel and check-in later on. As explained elsewhere, the accommodation was small but if you like cheap and simple accommodation in the heart of a big city then you simply can't go wrong! The local bar/beach/chill out area was very cool

Very good facilities and good price. However it was disappointing that there was not 24-hour staffing. Apart from anyone being able to walk off the street into the hostel and the accommodation area, we had a few loud and disrespectful groups partying tight next to the rooms very late into the night (when there is a bar area that has amole seating for them to use). Having a staff member available to assist with this issue would have been good. Also not sure if its a bar run separately but breakfast started very late for people who wanted to get out early to see the city. Otherwise it was good value for money in a really good location.

An oasis in the big city
The people working there are lovely and the beach area is very cool. Only minus is that you could easily just stay in that area and not see Berlin😀 The community showers/toilets is a small price to pay for all the other brilliant things. Also hired a beach ball court for an hour. Cheap bar.

I like the idea , very cute. Unfortunately they should have included bathrooms in each cube. Also let know very clearly that the only service is a bed. You are paying a lot of money for just a bed. Not even towels. The lady in reception is a thief, wanted to charge more for what I have requested and already paid. Will never recommend it.

Warm cosy clean and cute
Came with my bf and wasn’t slightly worried about using the shared cleaning/toilet facilities. But they were honestly fine, and you still had your privacy when using them. The room was prefect and warm even though it was snowing outside. Reception were super helpful and gave us a map to help. Would deffo stay again 10/10

I very much enjoyed the secluded rooms, with cozy adequate heating in each. I would enjoy seeing shampoo and soap for the common shared shower unit. But helpful front desk, affordable and great location overall.

We stayed here 3 nights, rooms are small but beds comfy & the room was clean for the price we paid you can't really expect more, not many showers was a negative but you find a way to make it work. It you want a cheap central base to see all Berlin has to offer you can't go wrong here

Cube Lodge
We had a great time at this hotel. We were walking distance to trams for site seeing. Lots of restaurants that we walked too and stores. Staff guess spoke their language and English whit h helped. There are a few activities there. Main one is volleyball. We relaxed every night on the beach with a bonfire with drinks. We were all quite inpressed with our find. Only thing is the cubes that we stay in are small and you have to got to a shared bathroom. But that is a true hostel style. Overall I would very much think about staying there again.

Small but great location. Note it's noisy.
The location is great. It's very easy to walk to almost all of the big tourist spots in Berlin. There are also a lot of restaurants about a 10 minute walk from the hostel. The rooms as they note are small so if you are traveling with a lot of luggage it may not be ideal but we had two large hiking backpacks and were ok. Note you do have to pay for towels, 2 euro. One thing to note if you are planning on wanting to go to sleep early (have an early flight) or know that noise is an issue for you this may not be the place for you. It is located next to a giant beach volleyball area and they play late into the night. We did have some issues with noise when we stayed the last night. There was a volleyball team staying in the complex that was up late into the night 0100, and were throwing and dribbling volleyballs near everyone's cubes and it was extremely noisy. A few people I know spoke to these individuals and asked them to be quieter.

Yes, the rooms are tiny. You're in the middle of Berlin, at a beach! surrounded by volleyball courts and an amazing outdoor lounge with firepits and tables and food and drink. It was great. Our family of 4 stayed in one cube for 2 nights and had a blast. Truthfully, I would have preferred to spend less time schlepping around Berlin, and more time at the beach!

very clean good value nice staff great location. bed not particularly comfortable. room gets very hot and close in the morning if the sun is up. shared bathroom is very clean and in good condition. on-site bar and lots going on. good vibes. would highly recommend to the young traveller, but dont expect hotel-level comfort.
