"The hotel is full of old people who are not happy at all to see younger families or people from other countries who do not understand German. Very grumpy people (including reception and restaurant/breakfast) and not polite. Do not smile, do not apologise or say thank you. Also, do not answer if you said thank you. "We had a room for four people which was nice when travelling with 12 and 15 year olds. Also a dog travelling with us. Clean, big room and all necessary amenities. About 30min drive from Strasbourg with free parking and wifi. Nice breakfast and great service thoughout the stay. Didn't try The restaurant. Kinda middle of nowhere, but right next to winefields. A lot cheaper prices than in Strasbourg, but not too far away."

"We had a perfect stay with 1- and 4-year-old kids. Hotel, the rooms and spa are very nice. Not the newest ones, but still very good and clean. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. The walk to the downtown baden baden is doable but lengthy. However, that didn't bother us and we hoped that could have stayed longer."
