Moulton-Barrett Barn at High Park, Indoor Pool

This spacious 3 bedroom 1 story Barn with 3 en-suite bathrooms & air-conditioning is an ideal luxurious relaxing getaway. The Barns at High Park are situated in the heart of the North Devon coastline. It offers easy access to beaches, moors, coastal path walks, cycle paths, golf courses, horticultural gardens, children friendly fun parks, and many other traditional outdoor and indoor recreational activities for those seeking a truly relaxing, yet active, break away from the stresses of day-to-day life.

High Park Barns has a secure, purpose-built 1 acre dog exercise field located on site. Designed with safety, freedom, and fun in mind, our fully enclosed field, with 1.8m high fencing, offers dogs the perfect space to run, play, and train off-lead in a safe and private environment. The dog field is open daily in the morning and evening for staying guests at no cost. Additional time can be booked during the day.

The barn is situated with 14 acres of private land. Within the grounds is a shared indoor swimming pool and hot-tub, and large natural lake featuring stunning vegetation and decked terrace.

Converted in 2018, this barn features super king beds in the master bedroom & second bedroom, two single beds in the third bedroom, all with en-suites, solid oak furniture, underfloor heating & air-conditioning.

The barn has access to four 7.2kW electric vehicle (EV) destination chargers.

The barn is dog friendly, and you are welcome to bring them at £25 per dog per week or part thereof.

Amazing holiday

Lovely property, great for families. Good location . Attractions close by and supermarket and petrol 5 min away . They add little extras so everything is there for you . The milk kiosk attached to the dairy farm is a must .

Perfect family week away!

First visit to Moulton-Barrett and definitely not our last! We booked for a 50th birthday celebration with family from France and had a fantastic week. The house is warm and comfortable with everything you need. Each bedroom having an en suite is great. The pool was a highlight for us all and the rota works really well. Swimming at night with the underwater lights on was lovely. The dog field is a great thing to have on site, our cocker spaniel thought she was a puppy again jumping the hurdles. Cream tea on arrival was a real treat. We all agreed this was the nicest property we have ever stayed at and are already planning when we can come back.

A wonderful place for all ages. Comfy and spacious accomodation. Lovely indoor pool to use as one family with set times. Near to so many lovely beaches that were also dog friendly.

Lovely stay

Moulton-Barrett is a lovely property, we had a wonderful weeks stay. It’s very spacious and comfortable with everything you could need, a home away from home. We loved having daily access to the pool & hot tub, a lovely way to end our days after long walks on the local beaches. The location is perfect, Aldi & Asda less than 10 minutes away, beautiful beaches within a short drive! The hosts are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property for short or long stays.

Perfect home from home

We had a great time visiting Moulton Barrett. It was very comfortable, dog friendly and perfect location. The barn was clean and special touches like scones, milk, slippers etc was lovely. Dogs were so welcome and there was lots of safe and enclosed space for them. We’ll definitely be visiting again soon!

Great stay

Our family of 7 over 3 generations reaaly enjoyed our weeks stay at Moulton-Barrett. we all loved the pool espeacially when it was next door to our barn. Very clean, well equipped all of our bedrooms had an ensuite. Charger points for my electric car was a bonus. Charming Hosts.

Home from home

Just back from a return visit to Moulton Barrett with our kids and dog. We love this place and the addition of the dog exercise area is a huge bonus. Accommodation was spotless, kids had a ball in the neighbouring indoor pool. Hosts are so helpful and informative, the grounds are beautiful and the EV charging onsite is excellent and reliable. Could not ask for more. We love the location of this holiday let, so much to do in close proximity to some great attractions and amenities. Westward Ho!-fabulous beach, Appledore- great for quay jumping and crab fishing, Instow-lovely restaurants. We visited the pop up slip and slide this year too- great family fun only 20mins away. Atlantic villlage just down the road is great for retail bargains and we love the Milk Kiosk. Highly recommend this location for a dog friendly family holiday.

Perfect holiday home perfect location

Se have had a wonderful week at Moulton Barret despite the variable weather. Impressive holiday house with 3 en-suite bedrooms and a massive kitchen, diner, lounge overlooking a walled garden with apple tress. The swimming pool was a firm favourite with the kids and our hosts provided llora of really useful info about the local area. We will be back next year

Top Notch and Classy

A fabulous, modern, smart and comfortable accommodation. The apartment included everything we could possibly need and want. The swimming pool and hot tub was fabulous - felt very spoilt. Beautiful grounds and close to the beech. Highly recommend. A hidden gem.

Wonderful!

Lovely accommodation & location. The North Devon beaches are spectacular & great to find a dog friendly property of such a high standard. Very comfortable mattress, lots of conveniently situated power points for phone charging, and scones, cream & jam as a welcome! Great to have 3 ensuite rooms when staying with adult children & their partners. Swimming pool & hot tub popular with family given some wet days. One of the best self catering properties we have stayed in. Thank you!

Fabulous February Family Break

We spent a week here in February halfterm and had a brilliant time. The swimming pool was a huge hit with our three children - designated slits for each barn each day along with extra sessions if wanted. The barn was spacious and having en-suites in all bedrooms was a bonus. The milk-kiosk next door was also a favourite with the children. Despite the winter weather we managed to explore many of the nearby beaches and visited Big Sheep Farm (highly recommended day out for families). Our dog loved the lake and wildlife on site. Communication with the owners was great and all information we needed was provided. Would definitely return and have recommended to other families already.

Fabulous stay

Myself and 5 friends have just stayed here for the weekend and we had an amazing time. The accommodation was lovely, beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were lovely and the whole property was just the right size for us. We loved the pool and hot tub and particularly liked the fact it was joined to our lodge, meant we only had to look outside the door to see if people were in there during the free time sessions. We would love to come back here again. We didn’t have any dogs with us but if you are planning on bringing a dog, the grounds are great for them to have a run around. Amazing stay and Anne-Louise is a fantastic host. Thank you very much for having us

We had the best time staying in Moulton Barrett Barn. Accommodation was to a very very high standard with three en-suite rooms. Very spacious lounge diner kitchen area overlooking a delightful walled garden with apple trees. The indoor pool was adjacent to our property and was a firm favourite with the kids. The property was dog friendly. Our hosts were fantastic and hugely informative about local amenities, attractions and restaurants. Very grateful for the top tip about quay jumping in nearby Appledore. Such a fantastic location to explore North Devon. Very close to the big Sherp,MilkyWay and North East Devon Wake Boarding centre. Some fantastic beaches nearby and wonderful coastal walks. Already planning our return visit next year.

What a gem!

We stayed in the Moulton-Barrett property for a week in January as a getaway for a birthday celebration. From the moment I booked to the end of the stay, I couldn’t have asked for more. Clear and detailed instructions on finding the location and accessing the property. Anne-Louise introduced herself and went through everything we needed to know and we were made to feel very welcome. The pool was outstanding. Lovely and warm, easy to use the pool covers and of course the hot tub. As a family of 3 generations with a 2 year old, we didn’t actually leave all week!! With the copious amount of space to run and ride bikes, the pool and all the exploring to be done, we didn’t need to go anywhere else. A relaxing break for the adults and an exciting new world to explore for the toddler, we’d have stayed another week! Absolute gem! We’ll be back…
