Family Weekend Away

We had a wonderful short stay in Big Bear. There was a fire burning nearby the entire weekend but we managed to have a great time cooking inside and hanging by the pool table. We also managed to adventure at the nearby Villages. Beautiful home, slept many, cozy, fun games, lots of seating, TVs, big bathrooms….couldn’t ask for more! Thank you!

Cool place with lots of cool spaces and beds to accommodate a large group. We loved the open floor plan, high ceilings, updated master bathroom, and game room. Not necessarily the host's fault, but it would have been nice if the app included check-in instructions. It only had check-out instructions, but the host messaged me check-in instructions directly which I had somehow missed within our correspondence. The place could have been cleaner, but we appreciate that the host was gracious enough to refund us some money for the inconvenience. Some suggestions for overall improvement: Hire a better cleaning crew. The floors, kitchen cabinets, cups/dishes, and nooks and crannies matter too. Organize and provide some additional kitchen supplies. An extra frying pan and pair of scissors would have been great. Everything felt randomly placed. Some facial tissues would have been wonderful as well. More thorough home maintenance will help it reach its fullest potential. Thanks again to our host for the responsiveness and for a fun trip.
