This is a lovely, large, comfortable 5 bedroom, 4 bath (plus loft & bonus room) mountain cabin on 3 levels. Actually 4 levels as the 5th bedroom/studio apt is on a split level of it's own to the side with it's own entrance and deck. This allows a lot of flexibility & privacy as different family/friend groups within your group can each can have a floor & their own bathroom! FIREPLACES, Air Conditioning unit in the main house, decks, lovely forest views, GAS FIRE PIT, level parking & more!
-5 MIN WALK to lake and trails with private lake access. **NOTE**- The Arrowhead Lake Association requires DAY USE PASSES/wristbands purchased for some days. Ask for details.

SKY PARK/SANTA'S VILLAGE (1.8 mi), Lake Gregory (8.9 mi), GREEN VALLEY LAKE (14 mi), and BIG BEAR LAKE (24 mi) with zip lines, miniature golf, sledding, toboggan ride, horseback riding, etc.)
It is situated on a safe, level, snow-plowed, cul-de-sac street.

It is just a 5 minute walk from the house to Orchard Bay. (Note: walk is steep.)
It is 1 mi by car to the Village.

PLUS large ceiling fan in the living room and in the two master bedrooms, and portable fans for the other bedrooms and studio as well!

A few things to note: -
The bonus loft area has a click/clack sofa bed) and the charming bonus room in the eaves with a single bed that can sleep 1.- it's adjacent to the upstairs master bedroom.
It's LOADED with constructive toys.

You can’t tell very well in the pictures but we have added a big dining table for family dinners, an expensive & lovely leather sectional in the living room.

The 5th (not counting the small eaves space) bedroom is a separate guest studio apartment under the garage. It is VERY private, romantic & shares no common walls with the main house. It has a separate entrance and deck with views - but is also connected to the main house by a network of decks in the back. It has a mini kitchen, electric fireplace, desk, sectional sofa, smart tv & dvd player. The bathroom has a NEWLY REMODELED Japanese soaking tub! (The tub may not be suitable for everyone, such as children & people with mobility issues who may have difficulty stepping into & out of it. There's a grab bar, which helps).

PETS: There is a fee of $50 PER dog/pet. (You must let us know ahead of time if you are bringing pets.
Please contact us if you have larger dogs or other pets.
Pets are not allowed on any of the beds or furniture because of pet hair etc.
There is a nice laundry room which has an opening to the house downstairs, as well as a door leading out to the deck and yard they can sleep in and we have a kennel.
Please clean up after your pets both outside & in the house.
(Note that it's rare but we have had to charge for additional cleaning/damages.)

PARTIES MUST BE APPROVED IN ADVANCE. NO EXCEPTIONS.

NOISE:
This is a VERY peaceful neighborhood and we ask that you please be mindful of the neighbors when in front of the house and out on the decks and with regards to loud talking, music etc. Especially before 9:00am& after 9:00pm.

PARKING:
There is parking for 3 CARS ONLY in the driveway. Parking is NOT allowed at all on the street per the city at any time for guests! You can be towed.
If you have more vehicles or can’t fit them in the parking space in front of the garage, you should be prepared to park the extra ones at the village (1 mi away) where there is free overnight garage parking.

If you are there in the winter & there is snow, you may need to clear space for your car & a pathway to the house. Shovels are available for you to do that & we can provide phone numbers for snow clearance, if you wish. This doesn’t happen often. The road itself is snow plowed regularly.

SECURITY CAMERA: There is a camera installed outside the front of the house at the request of the city because of complaints from the neighbors of guests parking in the street. This is also for your protection.

-board games & DVDs for your use in the cabinet by main TV.
-"Game Room" Loft!. Foosball, Air Hockey, Ping-Pong, & Pool! Please return parts or there will be a charge.
-There are building blocks/Lincoln Logs, die-cast cars, & toys in the upstairs little room by the loft. Please keep these parts only in that room and loft area. Please make sure all is returned in PROPER BOXES/BINS!

SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS:
2 master bedrooms: 1 on the top floor (queen bed) and 1 on the bottom floor (King bed & sofa)
There are 3 floors in the main part of the house) & the studio apartment under the garage which has a queen bed.
The other 2 each have queen size beds.
On the top floor there is also a loft with a "click clack" couch that turn into a bed a small & cozy attic small bonus bedroom off the loft with a comfy single bed on floor.
You can find bedding on the upper master closet in the big red trunk.
MAIN FLOOR: There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor:
~ "the pirate room". This room has bunk beds. (min 150 lbs on top bunk)
~ the second bedroom has a queen size bed.

NEARBY ACTIVITIES:
-THE LAKE! -We give you LAKE ACCESS passes- Lake is just a 5 min walk (walk is steep) to the beautiful lake and Orchard Bay! Breathtaking scenery all around the lake!

-THE VILLAGE is a great place to spend the day shopping, dining and playing along the beautiful lake front, outlet shops, concerts!

-SANTA’S VILLAGE/SKY PARK is a wonderful array of Christmas themed shops and restaurants, outdoor ice rink, zip lines, rock climbing, and mountain bike trails!

HIKING MECCA!!
NATIONAL FOREST TRAILS GALORE! All within a short drive. Walking around the neighborhood is wonderful too!

NEARBY LAKES FOR SWIMMING, FISHING, KAYAKS ETC (Lake Gregory, Green Valley Lake, Big Bear Lake)

WINTER - SNOW:
CHECK WEATHER & ROAD CONDITIONS AHEAD OF TIME:
You may need chains.

BRING WARM CLOTHING, GOOD SHOES, GLOVES ETC.
You may be responsible for clearing space in the driveway to park your car(s) & for clearing the steps down to the studio entrance - especially if there is recent snow. There are snow shovels on the small deck to the left of the garage where the trash cans are stored.
Please use extreme caution on the driveway and steps down to the studio as the temperatures can get very cold & ice & snow may be present. If you are heading up with snow in the forecast or right after snowfall, please be prepared.
NOTE: We can’t be responsible for the weather, road conditions, power outages on the mountain etc. during your stay. It is VERY rare and there are no refunds.

SNOW PLAY:
The closest ski and tubing areas are in Running Springs (15 to 20 minutes away).
• Snow Drift Snow Tubing Park is very fun & low commitment.
• Snow Valley ski resort is just 20 minutes away.
• Big Bear is about 35 minutes away and has several snow play areas.
• Snow play closer to the house is also possible if snow is present & conditions are right. Snowball fights, snowmen & sledding!
