"We LOVED our weekend getaway at the Fishing Cabin! It offers immense tranquility, fantastic views, swimming in the river, watching wildlife (deer, birds, bats, bears, etc), eating on the porch, unbelievable stargazing, and so much more. Our dog loved swimming in the river. Butch & Brenda were so welcoming and showed us the way down the property, with great recommendations for hiking. The place was very clean, cozy & well-equipped for cooking. Already looking forward to coming back here!"
Sweeping ocean views in stunning modern house on 20 acres

"The house was beautiful and the ocean views were unbelievable. If looking for a quiet place to relax and get away from crowds- this is it. This was our first time renting/VRBO a house and the experience was amazingly easy and the house….truly remarkable and gorgeous. The water was well water, with a sulfur smell, but it clean and safe with no issues. The only thing I would recommend is the outside of the house needs to be cleaned, (the exterior), and the grounds next to the house, need some mowing. But it never took away from the experience, would rent this place again. The host was gracious and had cleaners set up when we checked out- so we had no worries with that."

"The stay was great! The fishing was great! We enjoyed swimming in the pond during the warm afternoon. It was nice teeing off just outside the front door. VRBO could make extending the stay easier though- we wanted to stay another night, but the website wouldn’t let us add a night even though it was available."

"The host, Tiffany, was awesome. She answered questions quickly and thoroughly and gave good suggestions. She never made me feel like a question was out of line or an issue was petty. The property is beautiful, large and has great potential. It fit 10 women comfortably and had many large meeting areas that served our purposes well. The beds were all very comfortable and most rooms had fans or access to fans for the hot evenings. The home would be a great place for a family or two gathering as well. There were 2 fridges which were perfect for our large group of ladies and 3 ovens but we only used one. The dishwasher worked well and the kitchen didn't lack anything that we needed. The pool was amazing! The water temp was actually quite perfect warmed by the sun: Not too hot nor too cold and we were able to lounge in the pool for long periods of time in the afternoons. Hot tub was enjoyed as well with plenty of beach towels. The loft area was quite hot during the day because of the sky light and large south facing window but it did cool off at night. The only negative for us was that it is still being renovated: One bathroom out of commission and workers? food was left in the fridges with some debris, and the pool house was also out of commission. All things considered we would definitely stay again as a group. We found great hikes within 10 min drive as well!"

"This house is a gem. Wonderful location, scrupulously clean, all the necessities, and possibly the best "about your stay" information packet we've ever seen. The beach below the campground is perfect for quiet walks, and the coves to the south (accessible at low tide) are a wonderland of starfish and anemones and mussels. Sitting in the hot tub and watching the sun sink into the Pacific was a peaceful treat."

"Quiet, private gated escape with all the necessities of home plus a shaded deck and hot “tube” tub. AC works great with well equipped kitchen. Surrounded by forested mountains and stately majestic oak trees in a lush green valley."

"Cabin was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. It rained and they normally lock the pool and hot tub when it rains, but they were super accomadating and unlocked the hot tub for us."
