"Beautiful views! Loved sitting on the porch just watching nature, relaxing and listening to the river. Cute cabin, made the most of the space and it was so very peaceful there. Brenda was a terrific host and extremely helpful to us. Would like to visit their other cabin next time! Had a great time!"
Apartment at the Castle

"what I did not like was there was no hair dryer which it said there was. I also was not to find a phone number to call and an address on the web site. the location was difficult to find at night as I was coming from the north and passed it a couple of times. but the view was spectacular. The setting with the castle and grounds was so serene. The kitchen had everything we needed. It does have steep stairs so that is difficult bringing up luggage and other things. I would recommend it as a good getaway"

"Brenda and Butch were amazing and gracious hosts. My family had a truly unforgetable experience. For adventurers and hikers, this is dream vacation stay. We saw amazing amount of wild life without coming across a single human being. If you want to stay in an incredibly crafted cabin and are looking for serenity off the grid, I don't think you could do better!"

"The stay was great! The fishing was great! We enjoyed swimming in the pond during the warm afternoon. It was nice teeing off just outside the front door. VRBO could make extending the stay easier though- we wanted to stay another night, but the website wouldn’t let us add a night even though it was available."
