"The hotel was clean and comfortable, although a bit noisy. It was not convenient to get in and out of the parking lot, although being so close to Carmel is great. The staff was very helpful, and we enjoyed our stay."

"We absolutely loved this property! The room was tastefully decorated and the patio with the view of the lake and golf course was great! It was ideally located to visit Monterey and Carmel but the weather was so much better."

"This is an old classic hotel and as such has its charm and a fantastic location. However, it could need some freshening up. The floor carpets are unpleasant looking and there is no AC. Monterey weather allows for keeping windows open, the local seagulls do not. I did appreciate them allowing dogs though."

"Execelent place to stay. Very well maintained, close to beach, very quiet neighborhood,, very clean, staff excellent. Only one negative, it didn't have a microwave but had everything else We will definitely stay there again"

"Beautiful property surrounded by wonderful redwood forest trails and great amenities (pool, yurt, gym, hot tub). We stayed in a wonderful cabin room with an awesome pacific ocean view. We were celebrating our anniversary there, but unfortunately our stay was cut short by a distant forest fire. We look forward to visiting again in the future!"

"Charming boutique hotel. Outstanding ambiance and service. Smaller, but beautifully decorated rooms. Breakfast service and food quality was excellent. The bar was cozy and inviting. Staff were courteous and friendly. One of our favorite hotel stays!"
