Location, location, location.
This hotel is less than five minutes away from the Guggenheim Musuem. There are heaps of tapas bars around too. The rooms are a good size mine had a king size bed. A big shout out to Gary on the front desk who went out of his way on two occasions to help me out. Great value for money.

Beware, no laundry or parking on site and hotel is in bad shape. It looks ok from the outside but upkeep is lacking. Parking is a 5 minute walk. Shower did not drain, pipes make loud noises, sink faucet not secure, and fridge did not work. Hotel does not uphold any responsibility for false advertisement of services offered or condition of facilities. Front desk was nice and helpful to find parking and things in the area but have to authority to fix things that are broken or remedy any situation that arises. Would not recommend.

Dear Joyce, thank you for your feedback. We do not have laundry service, as we are a 2 star hotel, but in front of us you had one to use. We do have parking, not in the hotel, but at 3 minutes walking distance, less than any other in the area. You reserved an interior room and we gave you a free upgrade. Any maintenance trouble is solved as fast as possible. We are disappointed to see that you did not valorate as well other things like free bottled water or coffee, that we put as courtesy in the rooms. Best regards!

Lady on reception was fantastic! Checked opening times of museum & funicular railway. Gave us a map & dinner suggestions. We had trouble finding the car park & walking back from the car park……but great location for the museum.

Great location of a run down hotel
At a fantastic location (4 min walk to the Guggenheim) but a run down hotel. Walls are thin and the water system is very noisy. Once night stay was ok.

We do not share your point of view, the property has improved a lot, offering details as a professional coffee machine and water in the lounge, or a courtesy coffee, tea and biscuits in the rooms. Very functional and clean. Staff was awesome in providing help. Our bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we’ve ever slept in! And despite being right over the bus stop, it was also one of the quietest rooms ever! I watched two buses pull up and then leave. Never heard them! Nor did we hear loud guests or street folks. Very conveniently located. If you don’t need mints on your pillows, I highly recommend this hotel!

Good Hotel
Great location. The bus from the airport stops right in front of the hotel. Everything, including the Guggenheim is walking distance. Safe area. The room is European small, but had a small lounge area on the same floor with coffee machine, water, couches, etc.

Easy to take the bus from the airport. No need for a taxi. The hotel profile says there is a shuttle, but there is not.

The room was spacious and attractive, with a big bed and a desk and a modern bathroom. Also appreciated the safe and the small refreshments left for guests. Bed was comfortable too. Receptionists were all quite friendly and helpful. There have been posts about the way noise travels in the hotel and that is true... sounds of housekeeping can be heard through the hotel walls in the mornings. But it wasn't a big deal and I'd stay there again. I was very happy with the place.

Great location
Very close to Gugenheim. Great and helpful friendly service. Parking was easy and convenient. Just a little road noise for normal city cleansing in the early part of the night.

This hotel is in a great location, very close to the Guggenheim and multiple transportation options, and a longish but manageable walk to the Old Town. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and included everything you'd expect in a standard hotel room, with the exception of hair conditioner to go with the shampoo. The bed was quite hard but otherwise everything was comfortable.

The location of this hotel is absolutely ideal to visit the Guggenheim museum. It is maybe 2 blocks away--the only hotel closer is fantastically expensive. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, which in my opinion exceeds its 2 star rating. Just to manage expectations...it is basically one floor of an apartment building. There is no breakfast on offer, because they don't have a kitchen. But there was a (very helpful) person on call at all time, and the rooms are clean and well appointed, with a nice big bathroom. I also really liked that there is a little lounge area, with a coffee machine and some comfortable places to sit. VERY IMPORTANT...if you are planning to have a car with you, contact the hotel in advance to reserve parking. We were lucky and there was a space available (the hotel has an arrangement with a lot near the museum). But we would have been in deep trouble if a space hadn't been open. I will note that it is possible to pull up in front of the hotel, so long as you avoid the bus stop. So the parking situation is not absolutely ideal, but workable.

Hardly a hotel at all, just one floor of rooms in an apartment building, I found it soulless and with no atmosphere. Walls are paper thin so you hear neighbours voices and the sounds of their water pumps every time a tap is turned on or a toilet flushed, not to mention voices from the street. Our room had a strange damp smell too.

Great Value and Convenient Location
Great location for the airport bus, Guggenheim, and shopping. The service was excellent. There were few spots with hair and dust that could've used a better cleaning but overall, very satisfied for the price. Really nice to have 24-hr station stocked with Nespresso, tea, muffins, and bottled water. Nice to have the recycling bins too.

The location is good except you have nowhere to park as you check-in. You end up parking at the bus stop in front and hope for the best. Then you drive to the parkade. The parking is expensive at 18 euros. The bed is comfortable as the room is clean, however. Close to the Guggenheim and a reasonable walk to the old town.

The perfect location for the Bilbao trip.
It was the perfect location, the first stop of the airport bus at the door of the hotel, two blocks from the Bilbao Guggenheim Museum, and a handful of restaurants and convenience stores. The hotel front desk staffs were very friendly and professional. My room was modern and very clean.

The Cosmos Bilbao Hotel is literally away from the airport bus. The staff spoke English, Spanish, and Basque, and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Everything was in walking distance: museums, parks, and 15 minutes to the old town. I would definitely stay here again!

The perfect home base
Cosmov is the perfect home base for a visit to Bilbao. It's a short walk to the Guggenheim, restaurants, cafes and Sixt Rent-a-car. Rooms are clean, with smart and cool design, comfortable beds and the shower you dream of after a long flight. Staff were kind and helpful. We'll stay there again!

I enjoyed the eco-friendly shower, but also found that it wasn't really warm enough water. I loved the coffee/tea area! The rooms are a little noisy for someone who is a light sleeper from street noise, but the beds are very comfortable.
